I think once you begin to have some success in one area in your life ..it gives you more confidence and wanting to tackle things in your life that maybe you have been unable to focus on fully.
I have nested but also I have spread my wings ....think when you feel good about yourself it spills over to other areas of your life.
Losing weight must make your heart feel lighter and like the possibilities are out there if your willing to give it a chance.

Roo2 this is so true. My heart does feel lighter and the possibilities are endless, even for an old broad of 52!

Glad to here it rings a chord in your life.
For myself I placed myself on the back burner for family,work,whatever...I finally added my name to my to do list ...because I should have not played the Martyer..and I should have activity participated in things that truly interested me without feeling guilty for taking time for myself.
Really believe placing myself at the bottom of the list help contribute to my weight gain....I was not holding myself accountable ....because I was always busy doing for everyone else ...why can't I treat myself with food and oh...the mindless eating and not even paying attention what I was eating...and always getting sick ...and catching things so on meds ,steroids ...and the list goes on.
I think once your head is in the game ...that is the key to get your house sorta speak in order.

Good Luck,Roo2

You're from Land of Lincoln too
Are you in the Metro area or a down stater?

Are you excited about the Hawks !!, DH is a big fan! And of Course the Soxes

Nice to see someone from my neck of the woods on the board

Good Luck with your weight loss

I live on the north side of the city. Yes, so excited about the Hawks but I fell asleep after the first OT the other night. LOL

Would love to meet up some time.

Where are you located?
