That sounds great! I've been doing marinated cucumber for lunch all this week (which is wonderful and gets in 1/2 my oil and salt for the day), but that sounds more like a lunch for a northeastern winter. It's on my list for things to make this weekend. Thanks!

I do something similar. Mashed cauliflower is one of my absolute favorite things and when I cook it in chicken broth it tastes buttery without any butter. Love it!

I started on the IP diet on January 2 and my first weigh in was on Jan 8 and I lost 4 lbs. I weighed at 5:00 in the afternoon so it may have been a lb more. So far so good. I dont like any of the foods i have tried except for the brocolli and cheese soup poured over my brocolli. So this week I got all drinks, 1 brocolli soup and the all my restricted is the bars! So no stress this week on what anything is going to taste like. Oh, and I have NOT cheated one time. Yay me!!

Default Week 1 success

I, too, completed my first week and weighed in yesterday. Down 5#! Woo-hoo, I was pleased with that since I had my official begining weight done on Dec 19th and had Christmas and traveling in between.
So far, I am not a big fan of many of the packets I have tried. The omelets are not too bad if I add 1/4 of veggies. I, also, have to add veggies to the soup mixes. Other than that I have not ventured into getting creative with the packets. Maybe this week.
Last week I missed taking 3 packets so that is my goal for this week, get all 3 packets everyday....
Good luck everyone with their week coming up.

Hi everyone. I just thought I'd jump in here. I have been dieting since I was 12 years old. After having children I could no longer lose weight on any diet!! I did try Atkins a few years back, but felt terrible on it.

When I heard about IP, I thought I'd try it! I lost 7lbs in my first week!!! I can't tell you how happy I was that I found a diet I can actually lose on. This week, unfortunately I have gained a little but it's my TOM.

Good luck to everyone and thanks for all of the encouragement.

Barb

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is my first weigh in and I'm excited to see my coach again. By my scale I'll probably be down about 6lbs. The first few days were rough but it got easier. By day four I was actually hyper I had so much energy!

I've been sauteing some mushrooms and spinach and pouring the omelet mix over to make a frittata in the mornings (pretty good), drinking the RTD chocolate drinks for lunch and having a veggie salad with turkey or chicken for dinner. I've got classes in the mornings and working until 9:30pm each night so I haven't really had the time to get super creative yet.

The chocolate soy puffs are magnificent! My favorite so far!
