I have to say I'm really impressed with your attitude, too, that this is a problem to be fixed - both with your meds and the weight thing. It's easy to take it personally when plans don't work at first and give up, but you're looking for solutions and trying new things instead of giving up and declaring it hopeless. I'm sure you have moments that you feel like throwing in the towel, like we all do, but your still in the game anyways. Good going!
