I was offered candy a few times but didn't want any. Or so I thought then as I drove home from work a scene from the movie Band of Brothers kept flashing through my head. I was trying to decide why we like candy so much and I remembered the scene where the Paratrooper gives a little boy (in Holland?) his first chocolate bar. The look on that little guys face was priceless. Then I quickly thought man chocolate is not a great choice today it would be a power bar. I think the military actually issues Cliff bars these days, anyone know? We used to get little sweets in our MRE.
