Your thinking is solid - I would go for 175, spend some time getting used to your body at that weight and then determine if you want to maintain or go on.

My morning weight went up for a few days, but I got a pound loss this morning!

SW: 172.4
CW: 169.8
GW: 165

minoja75: I agree with princessbgirl that your thinking is solid. My original goal weight was 150, smack dab in the middle of my recommended BMI range. But I was feeling so much better about my body at 190 that I knew that I didn't need to lose 40 pounds more. I reset my goal to 170. I continue to think of 170 as the top end of my maintenance range. 165 is more where I want to be -- it's just challenging enough to maintain at 165 that I don't go off the rails (too often) but not so challenging that I would be unhappy to eat this way the rest of my life.

Thank you for your input princessbgirl and gardenerjoy I think I will definitely aim for 175 and see if that is the me weight.

Finally broke 230...YAY! I feel like I have been in the 230's forever. I know it was because of being off plan for the last 2 months...I am actually pretty lucky with the way I was eating not to have gained back a lot of what I had lost. Not going to press my luck like that again. 229 on the scale today...so happy. 7 pounds to go to meet July goal...a little worried with this vacation coming up and getting to have all that West coast food we can't get on the East coast and have been missing. I think I will just have to factor in a cheat day or two...

I want to join. I feel like the more challenges I join, the better. It gives me motivation. Right now I weigh 185.6 and I would like to be at least 178 by the end of July.

I had a bad weekend a didn't stay on plan very well, but me and the friend I walk with have decided to try to take a break from the drinking, so hopefully that will help me make my goal.

I am thinking I have some water weight right now, so I do not think a 10 lb loss is out of range for me.

I finally got the ticker set up, so I'm joining this thread too! I would like to lose at least 3 pounds this month. I am hoping for more, but will be glad for weight lost & kept off!

Thanks for posting the goals aniela26! I've just realised I have no idea why I said 146.8 or why I've been posting 140 numbers! I'm in the 130s! Would you change my goal for me please to 136.8? Thank you! I've obviously not got my head around being in the 130s yet lol.

Well this month is off to a fantastic start weight loss wise for me! Hehe I'm 0.4lbs from my goal for this month already
