So stretching and some ab exercises each morning then walking. Doc was pretty insistent that I keep my heart rate under 120.

As for celery, it has 6 carbs while Asparagus has 8, Broccoli 16 and Green Beans 18. I use a site called MyFitnessPal.com to track all my foods including IP items (which are already in the database) and it helps me watch which items have higher carb amounts. I've been looking everything I eat for long enough now that it's just habit and something that I'll continue to do after IP.
Wow, what is your serving size on these veggies? 2 cups of raw broccoli does not have anywhere close to 16 carbs. Asparagus is also much lower than what you have listed if you are calling 2 cups a serving.

2 Cups, but could be wrong as I haven't looked beyond what is in the app I use. I see Broc on another site is about 5.8 but another site shows 8 for a medium stalk and another shows 20 for a large stalk. So its hard to compare.

On fitday it 2 cups of raw broccoli has 11.6; so 5.8 would be for one cup by their calculations.

Two cups of cooked broccoli, 312 grams, has 22.4 grams of carbohydrates. http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcom...st_nut_edit.pl

This is from the USDA National Nutritional Database. The only really accurate way to get a standard measurement is to use grams.

This has morphed into an interesting conversation. I don't count any calories, carbs, fat...none of that!!! I simply go by what is allowed on the plan and don't worry about the rest. Should I be?

My days are nearly identical:

Peanut Butter or Chocolate Soy puffs for breakfast
Chocolate Shake (with coffee added) for lunch w/ 2 C cucumbers for lunch
Dinner is usually fish and either broccoli or mushrooms, sometimes squash
Blueberry Cran Granata or another Chocolate Shake for snack

Most days I don't eat any lettuce as I am not a huge fan although every now and again I get it in.

I drink 100+ oz of water and occasionally add lemon

I do keep my food diary that my coach gives me every week, but that only tracks what I eat...not cals/carbs/fat...

Should I be doing something more? I feel like I have been losing at an okay pace???

I also stick to the same/similar food/packet selections most days - and occasionally changing the vegetables in my morning omelet or try a new packet.

Since I don't want to become obsessive about calories or carbs, I don't track anything - just do what it takes to get all the required elements in every day.

I figure the choices I make now can be translated into maintenance so I never really go "off plan". I might have more freedom (in food selection) in the future, but the basis for my everyday lifestyle will be the same. And every now and then enjoy a wild and crazy day!

I wouldn't, and I don't. I use the site as a logging method for my IP meals and for what I have for dinner, again for me it's become habit. I didn't want to write down what I ate. Since it uses both a phone app and website I can log easily, then at the end of the day I can look at the summary and look at other days to compare. It has helped me to understand some of my body rhythms of how I'm feeling or if it felt hungry on a certain day.

But while on IP I wouldn't get into counting things. The diet is restrictive enough, but for me it's also been educational as far as meats and veggies.

I agree with Yguy, there is no need to count anything IF you follow what you have on your sheet. That sheet was created for the purpose of making it easy for us to follow. IF you follow and eat what is on the sheet there is no need to count anything, its basically already counted for us.
