I thought that was what it was, I am glad you found out and are getting it taken care of.

Also, thanks for letting us know, I was wondering about this last week!

Jen - I second that if anyone sees blood in their urine they should go in right away!

I have a male friend that saw blood in his urine off and on for nearly 6 months before he went in and saw someone about it. Turns out he had testicular cancer. He's in remission now, but had to lose one of his "friends" that he wouldn't have lost if he had gone in at the first sight of blood.

I, myself, ignored blood in my urine for a couple of days. When I went in I got a verbal lashing from my doctor. I had a urinary tract infection and was dangerously close to infecting my kidneys due to non-action.

Like Jen said, see the doctor if there's urine in your blood!

I'm still dealing with my OB/GYN on this one. I did a "progesterone challenge" which didn't work, then took a course of estrogen and am now on my second course of progesterone. Hopefully this will work. She did take a TSH level for my thyroid, and my number was 5, which makes just barely on the edge of underactive thyroid, but she wants to repeat that blood test.

So yeah, still a mystery there.
