Guess what I just did? I was walking my dog with me to get the mail and she wanted to visit the dog next door. Before I knew it, just pulled me and I banged my left eye into a wooden fence post. Needless to say I immediately started getting a shiner. I put an ice pack on it, but it is definitely a black eye!! I'll be seeing several people tomorrow, including the Rabbi for preparations for the Bat Mitzvah. Will be interesting to see if anybody notices!! It sure does hurt though! Tell me I'm not a klutz!!

massive clog.
the landlord had 2 plumbers here but the underneith the house cant access it.
put chemical in the drain and landlord will be here inthe morn.
if it doesnt work has to break into the foundation of the house to dig into it to find the trap.

Awww Shelley, poor you. How is the eye doing today? I hope that it didn't get to purple. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. My brother had the flu and was staying with mom and dad. We were all praying that she would not get it. Guess what, that was on the 27 and nobody else has gotten it. I really do believe in prayer. We have had people around the world praying for her and I really believe that has protected mom.Mom has another blood clot in her leg though but she is managing not bad for having an extra 6 people staying with her.

Sherry way to go for still being encouraged to lose weight. I heard that curves is really good.

Doni sorry to hear about your sink problems. It always seems to happen to us the night we are having company or a special occassion.

Gayle I am glad that your wine is ready. We have never made a kit with the berries before so I don't know what to tell you about that. We have only added the oak chips.

So what is everyone doing for New Years? We are having a quiet candle lit dinner for two at home. Lobster and steak is on the menu. After that we might have a couple friends over or just watch movies. Just waiting on my friends to let us know what they are doing. We have been going nonstop. Not a day free since the weekend before christmas. Yesterday I had my brother and family over for dinner. Tomorrow it will be at Mom and Dad's and the next day is my girlfriends birthday. She isn't having anything but I told her if we don't crash her place I will start having withdrawls from lack of parties. lol

I wish you all a happy healthy year!

New Year's Eve

Play a thin tune on a paper horn.Old is dying.New is born.

Scatter confetti over the floor.Sweep an old year out the door.

Blow up a wishin bright balloon.Whisper dreams to a midnight moon.

Play a loud tune on a paper horn.Old is dying.New is born.

Well, I have a very exciting evening planned! We are going to my folks for supper and I hope to be snuggled under the covers by 8:00pm listening to the police scanner and sipping on a coke. That will be a treat since I only allow myself one or two a year! I'll be lucky to make it past 10:00!!!
I have an appointment for a perm tomorrow. If it turns out good, I'll post a picture. If not..........I guess I'll be wearing a baseball cap for a while! LOL

Take care everyone and watch out for the other guy if you are on the road tonight!

Love, Ramona

p.s. Talk to ya next year!!!!
