Thank you everyone. I appreciate the encouragement and am going to think things over and decide what to do. In the meantime, today I am taking a break from dieting. It's been a bit of a healthy binge day I suppose...

you are all right, I am obsessing about this which makes it even harder to see that I am not making any progress.

Sigh. I think I need to pull things back together some how. Today I couldn't stomach my breakfast of berries and greek yogurt. Just so sick of cold bland foods. I didn't even eat it... I had 2 light baby bel cheeses and some heirloom grape tomatoes...and a tall soy mocha from starbucks. I had a dentist appt. over lunch and when I left the office at 1:30 I was so ravenous (I usually eat lunch at 11 because I can't wait any longer) that I stopped at the pharmacy on my 5 minute walk back to work and bought cheetos, which I stuffed into my face like a crazy person while walking back to my office!!!

What is wrong with me? The bag was 390 calories, and then I heated up my Amy's mac and soy cheeze which was 370 calories. I was hungry at 5 when I left the office, but then sort of lost my appetite at 6:30 when I was eating dinner. I ate anyway, I didn't care. I made grilled asparagus and grilled portabella caps...doused everything with oil, stuffed the mushrooms with fake sausage and had 2 glasses of wine.

Still wanting some more baby bel cheeses and tomatoes... 9 pm and my stomach is growling again.

Mmm that food sounds good, not going to lie. Days like that happen and diet fatigue DOES happen.

Someone posted in the Weight Loss Support or Diet Questions forum about taking diet breaks, and it seems like there's a lot of experiential/anecdotal evidence and scientific support for taking diet breaks... that in the long run the payoff is great than forcing the same diet every day. Maybe look more into that?

It sounds like you are getting bored with eating the same old food, which I also do... when you find certain foods that taste decent and fit your calorie/protein/fat requirements you tend to stick with them. At least that's what happens to me. Maybe looking into new recipes or ideas will get you fired up again about your plan. Let us know if we can offer suggestions.
