Hi Sarah, I'm Sarah too!

I like listening to Royksopp, Robyn, Ratatat (slow for some I guess), Slagsmalsklubben (have fun looking that one up haha!), some Metric, some Loney,Dear, some Polarkreis 18. Ok.. I think my music taste might be a little eclectic but thought I'd pop in with some different suggestions!

I like upbeat music to work out. Britney and Shakira are my two favs. Here's some of my list ... but be warned ... some of my songs are ... antiques. And some aren't meant to be heard by children. LOL

Pink -
Get the Party Started
Sober

Katy Perry -
California Gurls

Rihanna -
Push Up On Me
Rude Boy
Shut Up and Drive

Britney -
Piece of Me
Stronger
What U See is What U Get
Boys
I'm a Slave 4 U
Outrageous
Freakshow
What it's Like To Be Me
Gimme More

Shakira -
Give It Up To Me
Whenever, Wherever
Hips Don't Lie
La Tortura
She Wolf

Christina Aguilera -
Dirrty
Fighter
Genie in a Bottle

Divinyls -
Bullet
Back to the Wall
Love School
Need a Lover

Samantha Fox -
I Wanna Have Some Fun
Naughty Girls Need Love Too
Love House

Sweet Sensation -
Take It While It's Hot

George Clinton -
Atomic Dog

Vanity 6 -
Nasty Girl

Madonna -
Justify My Love
White Heat

Morris Day -
Jungle Love

Berlin -
Pleasure Victim

George Michael -
I Want Your Sex

Klymaxx -
Meeting in The Ladies Room

Midnight Star -
No Parking on the Dance Floor
Freakazoid

Marvin Sease -
Candy licker
I Ate You For My Breakfast

Salt n Pepa -
Independent

And the entire Monster Booty CD rocks ...

What an awesome idea for a thread. Everyone's posted some awesome songs, many of which are already on my playlists for the gym. I personally go for a huge mash-up of stuff. Anything that's driving, has a good beat, or can get you pumped... I just slap it all together and sweat baby sweat.

Still a huge fan of all the music I grew up with, y'know.. the 90's rock, R&B, etc. But I never rule out anything interesting.

Eminem - Lose Yourself
Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice
Finger Eleven - Paralyzer
The Fratellis - Flathead / Henrietta
The Futureheads - Struck Dumb (One of my fav. treadmill songs!)
Jimmy Eat World - The entire "Chase this Light" CD
Jurassic 5 - One Two / The Game / Freedom (Great beats)
The Kills - Cheap and Cheerful
M.I.A. - Paper Planes / Galang
Madonna - The entire "Confessions on a Dance Floor" CD

3OH!3
Black Eyed Peas
Lady Gaga
Daft Punk
Shinedown
Seether
The Descendents
Fall Out Boy
So many other things as well... but I won't ramble on for forever.

HAHAH Great suggestions guys!

I'm an old skool hardcore breakbeat junky (techno) so I have TONS of old mixes from all sorts of DJs around the world.

To those that mentioned Daft Punk and Basement Jaxx - you can never go wrong.

I actually heard the song "4th of July" by Kalis today (you know, the girl that did the milkshake song) and it's actually pretty dope. Has a good house beat behind it.
