i agree, though, that the foods get tiring. i haven't yet been able to find any buffalo (any recommendations, ladies from lincoln?),
Leah --

HyVee at 70th & Pioneers has ground bison in the frozen food aisle. Also, the fresh seafood place just south of 48th & Highway 2 has bison shipped in fresh daily.

One of my counselors recommended it for stir fry. Also said to try the orange supplement on chicken with stir fry veggies, with ginger to make an orange chicken dinner. Haven't tried that yet.

Leah,
I shop at the Hyvee on 84th and the buffalo is in the frozen section next to the frozen seafood and frozen ground turkey. You can also get buffalo at Leon's on South street. I think that's raised in Nebraska, but, it also comes frozen.

Way to go Alisha! This will help build up your confidence in yourself too, see, you CAN do it! We all go through moody blue times so find some non-food treats to reward yourself for this 2 lb victory over not giving in. (Manicure, facial, massage - something you wouldn't ordinarily do for yourself - go ahead, you deserve it!) Congratulations, jeanette

congrats, alisha!! i am soooo hoping for something similarly amazing to happen when i go weigh in on saturday. last week was only a half-pound loss, so i've been trying REALLY hard this week to kick it up a notch, but i'm not sure it's making any difference. send me some of that two-pound magic

Yeah! We need those losses to remind us why we are going through all this. I love the NSV but sometimes you need the numbers to move.
Double dust to us all!

ali,

Sometimes those are the best kind of losses. The program can work even though you're not thinking about it too much.

Leah...Super Saver at 27th and Pine Lake also have fresh buffalo. I tried it once and didn't care for it. It isn't cheap per pound, I would rather spend it on fish instead. jmo

I keep saying I'm going to experiment with all these wonderful recipes, but just don't seem to have the time, and weekends past by way too quickly for me to plan anything. But I am in a rut, and stir frying chicken is getting boring. I've got to try that great chicken recipe.

Breakfast is still my biggest problem...I have to force myself to sit down and eat eggs. The pancakes aren't doing it, and the French toast is good for once every couple of weeks. There has to be something else I can do for breakfast. If I could just eat a bowl of oatmeal, I would be so very happy.

I found a new item for breakfast..grilled cheese. I took a piece of bread, toasted it, sliced it in half, sprayed with spray butter and used yellow american cheese and then cooked in the skillet using the Pam Butter flavor. Yum!

Noahsmama...oh you are wonderful...I never thought of that...but yes...I could have that and enjoy it. My menu calls for 3 ozs. of cheese though...that's alot for one slice of bread. But I will figure something out...now I am looking foward to breakfast tomorrow...thank you, thank you, thank you.

Are we going to get Jennifer back on here....I miss her.
