Good job on realizing that there are chemical messages being relayed to you by your body.

I need Iron. I need Omegas. Give me fiber. Yes it sounds like you were desperately craving iron. Whole wheat spaghetti, black beans, garbanzos--all huge iron source. Sardines are one of the fatty fish rich in omegas. Your body needs EFAs to regulate hormones.

I have bad PMS. I also have estrogen dominance. That is what it is from. I found progesterone cream REALLY helped. I am actually on prometrium 200 mg for treatment of endo and my mood is alot more stable. Less ranting. More calm. You don't have to have an RX for progesterone cream. It's about $20 for a good one. And you can adjust it to suit you. A pregnant woman has 400 mg circulating through her bloodstream so it will not hurt you. A menstruating woman should produce at least 20mg in the luteal phase. I refused anything with estrogen in it. So doc put me on the prometrium. My cramps are actually TOLERABLE now.

my period still came this time, but I'm hoping to skip it all together next time.

lol..about the black cloud of doom! hah! can't stop giggling about that.
