Talking

Hey all! I would definatly not put loosing chest size on my list of reasons NOT to lose weight...oh wait, do I even have one of those? No, I guess not. I'm just saying, I've been a 36D since I got breasts and they have stuck with me through every weight. So don't worry until it happens - and hey, if it does, maybe you'll love it! I mean, all the women who talked about the running with big boobs aren't lying.

I can relate to this. I've lost from a dd to a d and hope to lose more. I'm 20 and I've been dealing with being big breasted since I was 12, too much milk I suppose. Well maybe in my last 25 lbs I'll lose to a c and be able to wear normal looking clothes. Maybe I should take up jogging.. hmm.. well have a good day everyone.

Oh my... I'm hoping mine will lose about 2 cup sizes. I'm a 38DD right now, and I'm just praying for a C cup. I've had a D cup for 5 years though, then just recently (when I gained about 70 pounds) got a DD cup. I was a bit overweight with a D though, so I'm hoping it'll go to a C when I lose all the weight I want.

Girls, if you are at your goal weight and your extra boobage is giving you back pain, your health insurance usually covers breast reduction. Check out www.breasthealthonline.com if you want to learn more about breast reduction. This is not just a cosmetic concern. Overly large breasts can cause nerve damage from bra straps cutting into your shoulders and permanent back pain.

Hi

Well, hey I will jump in here too, and hopefully with a few words of encouragement. Of course it depends on the person... but YES it IS possible to lose several cup sizes! When I started this I was a 48DDD (yikes) but with the loss of just 35 pounds am now about a 46 (and some 44) DD!! And before when I lost all my weight I got down to a C cup.

Cardio DOES help... BUT the best thing ever is doing the correct strength training ones -- but it is important to find a trainer to teach you which ones to do because SOME of the exercises are designed to BUILD UP the bust and chest. Stick with lighter weights -- I just use the 10 pound ones on the machines, and 5 pound ones for hand exercises... or even start with 3.

It IS possible... I am doing it!! Yay.

When I started I was a 46DDD and I am now a 38DD. I am anticipating that I will be a 36C-36D when I am at my goal weight (I come from a family of small breasted women LOL)

Hi Raelynn

Congratulations! Bet you really enjoy getting rid of some of that... I know I already do and I am still very large! But not for long!!

Yes, I am pretty sure I can get down to about a 36C too when I am at my goal... sure would be nice!! And actually my mother IS "flat as a board." Thin as a rail too! We joke that she gave all her fat cells to me... thanks a LOT!

I was thin up till 5 years ago and my cup size is exactly the same it was (dd) and this was after a breast reduction, the only thing I have noticed is they hang a little lower

Ive lost 2 cup sizes, they look like deflated windsocks!! I think the fuller breast was best. But there isnt much I can do. Bras that pick me up, and dont let me fall out of them are about the best I can do.

Exercise? just to strengthen my pecs....but not enough to pick my boobs up off the floor

Hello All!

I do think it is all in the genetics.... I am doomed from both sides of my family - both mom and grandmoms are large breasted... I am currently 34H.... didnt think they made those letters.... and the cost - UGH!!! - Even for the ugly bras it is $75 and forget about the pretty ones that can go up to $300 - $300 for a dang bra!!!!!

When I started working out I was hoping to lose boobs and what I did was lose an inch under my bust and gained an inch across the bust!!! UGH!!!!

Angelcat - you sound alot like me - I am also hour glass shaped - Have always had a waist - even now.... I dont know if this is good or bad because whenever I tell people how much I weigh they cant believe it because when you are hour glass you just gain it everywhere, but the down side is that you gain it everywhere so the weight kinda sneaks up on you and one day you go "where did this fat person come from"

Just stay the course - I wear the 2 sport bras when working out and do the pec exercises because they will at least make them perky instead of droopy.

You guys are a hoot! Being breast challenged, I've found your posts fascinating! I have recently lost 20 lbs and I thought I was flat chested before!! I like the wind sock analogy- no breast tissue, just skin. Holy cow, how could they have gotten any smaller! You've made me have a whole new appreciation for being flat chested. I'm sure I can't imagine the pain involved in carrying that much bulk on your chest. A size H!! Wow! I figured with this loose skin I'd be a perfect candidate for breast augmentation, but you know what? After reading what you have to say, I think I'll just tuck what I've got into my jog bra and run like heck! Thanks for the reality check!!

Angry UGH!

Don't tell me that

I am a 40G now!!!!!

I was PRAYING to lose in my boob area. The things are 17 pounds each!

[and don't ask how I know ]

It took me 2 years to find good, relatively inexpensive [$120 for 4 bras damnit!] bras and now the band is getting smaller, yes, but my back pleads that the CUP gets smaller too!!!

I don't know about anyone else, but the boobs are usually the FIRST to go on me when I lose weight (I wish I were that lucky with my backside !) When I first started dieting (pre-Xenadrine pills), my size was a 55DD, and now I can fit a 48D comfortably in Just My Size and Fashion Bug bras.

I guess it varies from person to person.

Hey Audrey... LOL I laughed when I read your message. I am thrilled that I am now DOWN to a 44DD!!! It could be MUCH worse, believe me!! I am planning to get down to a C when I lose my weight... did so before and I can do it AGAIN!

And for those who say sports bras help... well believe me you must still be within a range where they MAKE them to fit! They do NOT make them in sizes for the people who need them most...
