noussa - you are so right! We love the beach and go every summer! This year we are going in June - so - it's even sooner! yay!! I really need to get my butt in gear too!
chopper - staying the same is better than a gain! I agree, working out does boost the WI's! Good Luck at getting back at it!
How about that Biggest Loser last night! I love that darn show! I really thought Kelly would be going home last night. But I guess the guys put it into reality and agreed Bernie was the bigger threat! He looked good at 175# in his after pic! A lot of people are hoping to see Brittany stay to the end, but I'm kinda holding out for Rodger or Jay! I dunno!
Well, have a great day girls and keep up the good work. I'm seeing a lot of "need to's" so make today the day! (yea yea, I'll do the same)! lol!
I started the ww program and this site about 2 weeks ago but was getting really discouraged as my scale was all over the place. Then this weekend was dd birthday and well I just ate...didnt count didnt think .... So Monday I went and got my but in gear and purchased a new scale that I think is working....the other one was all over the place and I couldnt figure out what I weighed. So now...here I am getting my bootie back in gear and trying to get the scale moving in the right direction....I so want to be smaller this summer
Hi 2thinme & welcome to our little spot in cyber world! This is such a motivating and supportive site. Keep us posted on your progress and please share any new ideas! Can't wait to get to know you better!
I am new to 3FC and I just wanted to say good luck to everyone this week, I am back on WW again and hoping it goes good this time!! Thanks Jar1965 for the great motivation and support!!
I agree "jar" ... this week's episode of Biggest Loser was good. This is my first season to watch and I am addicted!!!
I would like to see Brittany win it, I just don't know if she'd appreciate it the way some of the others would. I could be wrong though.
Well did good yesterday....stayed on plan. I have noticed that I tend to eat quite a bit of junk while staying in my points...does anyone else do this? for example what I had yesterday is as follows:
1 south beach bar--------2pt
1 slice ff cheese----------1pt
2 slice light wheat bread--1pt
1 baca burger------------1pt
1 oz light chips-----------2pt
1 sb bar------------------2pt--sub 9pt
2 slice light wheat bread--1pt
1 baca burger------------1pt--sub 11pt
1 slice ff cheese----------1pt
1 can 0pt soup(counted it as 1pt
2slice light wheat bread---1pt
1 baca burger------------1pt--sub 15 pt
1slice ff cheese----------1pt
1oz baked fries-----------2pt
1-bag light popcorn-------3pt?????not sure if I count this right or not
3 rice crispy bars---------6pt--total--27pts
I also had letus and tomatoes on all the baca burgers...
2thin - I'm not like most people, but for me weight loss is all about vanity and not so much a healthy lifestyle. I eat a ton of junk and stay on plan. Last night for dinner I had Cheese and Crackers and a Reeses Peanut Butter egg (kids were with their dad for dinner, I wasn't cooking to save my life). It's worked for me, but I can't say that it would work for everyone. I think it just depends on your reasons and your goals. Good Luck!
Keitha - Thanks! I asked in the last thread, but I don't think you saw it -- What kind of soda did you use for the coconut cake? I was thinking of using a Diet Sprite and trying it.
Thanks for the sunshine Jeanne!!! I was so sad to see Bernie go, I hate that! I have a dislike for Kelly (I don't have a reason, she's just not my favorite by far), so I was really hoping that she'd get it. This is the first season that I've gotten into this, but I love it. I just wish it wasn't on the same night as Idol. I am anxious to see how the game changes with no more teams.
Started journaling and counting WW points a month ago and have lost 10 pounds. Need support to stay on track. Hopefully, we can all help each other. Looking forward to getting to know all of you! Bethz

Exercise: 20 minutes hall-walking at lunch time
Hello everybody and all the newbies! I have been gone for a week and soo busy. I skimmed through some of these posts and have a couple of replys. But first I lost 1.8 lbs last week and now for the dissappointing part. I was .2 away from hitting my 10percent goal. So I am still working towards that.
JUNK FOOD: Last year when I did the plan I ate a lot of junk and didn't lose weight while staying on plan. I couldn't get past 5 lbs!! This time I am eating along the lines of the healthy guidelines and in 14 weeks I have lost 23lbs. If eating junk works for you and your body doesn't revolt I say go for it! However if you find yourself not losing or bouncing back and forth I would try somewhat of a healthy version.
SWIMSUITS: I found a really cute Tankini on KOHLS.COM last year. They didn't carry it in the store only online so I would check there.
Hello ladies!!! Just stopping in to say a quick hello to you all! Been doing okay. Still stuck in the stinkin 190's (since November!!!! ) Sorry I haven't been around here a whole heck of a lot lately. I've been so busy with school and starting our business (www.birdsongphotography.com) and with kids and housework, it's like I barely get time to breathe! But, I still think about you all all the time!!! I'll be back as I can!
MKJohn, Mom2QJandT, and Jar - so great to see familiar (and smiling) faces
Great job Bethz....I hope my scale shows downward trend this week..I wont know until Tue when I will do my official weigh in on my new scale...just got it a week ago sooooo heres hoping.
Our weather here in Ca has actually been pretty nice for a change...we dont get any snow here usually but it sure got cold enough to this year.....
I have been so hit and miss on the biggest loser this year...I wish it would show up on my on demand so that I could keep up with all of it but it doesn't so I only get to see it sometimes when my schedule permits it
Good morning girls......****yawwwwn**** 2thin - thats funny! Gotta love those smilies!
JULZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi! I've missed you! Every so often I check out your 1yr. blog just to remind me that you are out there! haha! When I'm done here - I'll go check out your site for your new business! Sounds like the kids and hubby are doing good and keeping you busy! Happy Anniversary!!!
Stengel150 - woohoooo & congrats on that 1.8 - you'll be at 10% soon! Keep up the good work!
Hi Mom2, Keitha, Beth, Chopper, & trinette!!! Hope you guys are hanging in there!
Man, I have been MIA for so long I can't believe it. It was always one thing after another over the last couple of weeks. As per usual I have maintained the nine pound loss, but until yesterday have not got passed that. It feels good to get back on track and see a reward.
I understand how hard it is to find a bathing suit. I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. It is a tankini, but I chose a skirt for the bottoms since I have "thigh" issues. I didn't spend a lot of money because I was hoping that I won't be using it for that long. I bought it at Walmart and it is solid brown with a copper buckle at the bust. The top looks super sexy, it gives a nice emphasis on the boobs without having them pop out.
Congrats to all of those you lost this week, and kudos to those who have got back on to plan.
Mom2- I used diet Sprite. It has a better taste than anything else. I used diet Sierra Mist but didn't care for it. Diet Sprite is better. I used it with yellow cake and white cake.....you name it and I have tried it.....lol. Good luck with it. It taste great!
I have been MIA for a few days. I have whip-lash and have been in a lot of pain the past few nights. I am just trying to get some rest and take care of my neck. I ihaven't stayed OP at all. I need to get my butt in line and get back OP soon.
Welcome to all the newbies. I hope you like it here as much as I do.
