Thanks for your advice guys, I will speak to my pt (thanks Tip!) and talk to her about it. I am more calm now but I still feel self-conscious going to the gym. I promise I will go today and speak to her and perhaps I will feel better about the whole thing after I do.

jaelynn--welcome and by all means join our spring challenge! Weigh yourself today, post it and in a week you (hopefully!) can post your loss!

Hi--

I wanted to check in again, but couldn't remember the name of the thread or where I'd found it . I'm stuck on 229, but feeling a bit firmer and more muscular, which is great! Alas, I'm down with the flu, so my idea of a workout is shuffling from the bed to the couch. The biggest challenge is not snacking all day. I hope the other Spring Steppers are doing well and feeling better than I am! jaelynn

Default I know I'm late....

But I need a challenge! I did a challenge on the mailing list and I lost 5 pounds in Jan, then Feb came along and I haven't lost a darn thing. All because I didn't exercise. I have only excuses, and while they were good at the time they don't hold water looking back. I'd be sitting a few pounds less right now if only...

So for double inspiration I am doing this and the mailing list challenge.

I would like to be 5 pounds (actually 6, then I will be out of the 220's) less by March 31st. I will exercise 5 days a week and will stay on my eating plan for the next 5 weeks, (5-5-5!!) except for my husband's birthday cake. However I plan on having a few cans of Somersweet by then so I won't eat much of his cake!

I really didn't want to do low carb and struggled with it for ages, but I finally realized I like it, and NEED it.

Default Sue!

Hey Sue, I was getting ready to send you a PM when I read this...I said I'd be here for a challlenge in November...eek, I am about 4 holidays too late! That is another reason I need this challenge. I have to have supervision around the Easter basket this year. I made Rob an Easter basket last year. He is from Holland and they don't do that really, so it was his first. He asked if I wanted him to make me one this year instead and I said NO, what are you gonna put in it, Splenda and veggies? We still are making Cody's so I need to refrain from ANY. Wow, I sure home my Somersweet comes in soon!

Hi--

I'm here, just struggling to get over the flu. Haven't been working out, and have been fighting these cravings for pizza (and winning, mostly). I'll have to get on the good foot to meet the challenge, but I'm looking forward to getting physical again. Hmmm, about 8 pounds to lose in 31 days....I'm still going for it!

Congrats, nasus40, on your new figures!

Pooky, I'm going to talk with my dh this weekend about checking out the gym, I'd like to learn to swim, and the membership is a good deal, what with all the amenities...except the place is probably lousy with skinny people....

Hope everyone else out there is doing well!

Hi,

I'm still hanging in. Not doing great with exercise, but this is day 53 back eating OP. My every 2 week weigh-in & measure is Monday, so wish me luck!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Default Hi Pooky

Thanks for bringing the thread back up, but I don't want to see where I started from! I did terrible last month. I wasn't a great exerciser but I thought I was doing really well with my eating plan. I tried to do my own low carb thing and I mixed and matched the wrong way. I am getting the best of different plans. Now as I read SB I see a lot of things I was doing wrong for the last few weeks. Now I am doing it by the book so at the end of this month I should be a happy camper!
