  • OK - as threatened, here are my 193/183 pics. Not sure there's much of a difference and I know the second pic is crap quality.

  • Wow, now this is what I like! Came back to have a peek and there are actually a few posts! LOL

Lois, I'm doing alright today. Feeling pretty good about the scale finally moving. But scared I'm going to screw it up somehow and tomorrow it will be back! aHHhhhh! LOL Thanks for asking. If it is any consolation, we're suppose to have rain/snow tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's rain. That should take care of the little bit of snow hiding out in the shade in my backyard.

Hi frenchfrydiva, I feel as though I should have that name! LOL Fortunately from now on mine are baked and homemade. Anyways, to the group! Looking forward getting to know you and watch you along the way with your successes.

Linda, like I told Garnet one time ago. If you eat 80% of the time clean and healthy that once in a while isn't or shouldn't affect you. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm actually only 5lbs. away from going to enjoy one of my treats....PIZZA HUT!!

Robsia, could you tell me again why you're here! hahaha You look great! I can't wait to be that size. You honestly look fab girl! You've done so well. You're right the second pic is a little blurry, but I can see some change in your face. You need to go shopping for some form fitting shirts girl. Show off that new figure!

Here's to all our victories! May we see many more to come (hopefully sooner than later!)

  • Me again . . . just reporting that I feel really physically crummy. After I spent three months teaching my stomach what good healthy food tastes like, I don't think it can cope with the garbage anymore . . . it is really rebelling against those muffins.

But thanks for the pep-talk, Tina. You are definitely right. Just make sure your splurge is on something really worthwhile. For me; you can bet there won't be any more carrot muffins. Now, the ice cream was good.

Once again, Robsia , you are an inspiration to us all.

A great, big, welcoming for you, Erin. Glad to have you with us and we all look forward to sharing the journey with you.

Here's a coating of to help us through the evening. See you all soon.
  • Meowee - I wish I could feel crummy when I eat bad stuff.

However, yesterday I had a naughty moment and an incredible will-power moment.

We broke up for the Easter holidays yesterday and all the kids got given a Cadbury's creme egg. Sheila, the Head, offered one to me too and I know I should have said no, but I took it! Then one of the pupils said I could have hers as she didn't like them. So I was stuck with two. THEN I was offered a chocolate cupcake at breaktime.

Now, that all sounds bad but, although I did eat the chocolate cupcake, I did not eat either of the two Creme eggs - which was incredibly hard. I gave one to my dd and the other is sitting in a box on a high shelf waiting for Easter. I logged the cupcake on Nutridiary and it says they are only 131 cals so that's not too bad.

Actually I just checked and if the website I found is to be believed, a creme egg only has 170 cals, which is pretty good. Certainly better than a Mars Bar which is about 400.

Anyway, I didn't eat it so that's good.

Tina - I should have posted a pic of me in my sexy suit I wore for work today - most of my nice stuff is in the wash though - I do a wash at weekends so by Friday I'm always out of nice stuff. I love baggy tees though - I don't have to pull anything in!!
  • Good Morning . . . the sun has risen over eastern North America once again . . . and here is the link to our new April thread . . .
