  • jelbb- i get a thrill from it too! i don't know if that is quite normal, lol. but, i have an official wi day tomorrow so i am not starting that til next week lol.

lauren-i'm sorry your bf did that, guys can be so dense sometimes. hopefully you can still do something fun that doesn't cost alot. and 149.8 thats awesome, congrats girl!!

well i did not do well yesterday. the dbf and i were out looking at houses yesterday til about 6 and i realized i had not eaten since noon and i was starving! so, when my bf suggested louie's of course i agreed right away (i don't know if you have one where you live, but basically it's just bar food. so bad for you but so good). ugh, anyway of course afterward i wished i had been patient enough to go home and cook, although it was nice to have a break. so this morning i was really worried about my wi but was pleasantly surprised to be up only .3! i was hoping to be 158 tomorrow for my "official" weekly wi, but i am happy that i did not gain at least.

but, i was wondering what are you girls doing to get to the 140's? what kind of diet plan are you following (if calorie counting then how many calories are you trying to eat), and how much/what kind of exercise are you doing? this 10 lbs seems to be the hardest to lose by far and i just want to see what everyone here is doing so maybe i can get some ideas. sorry for such a long post, thanks girls!
  • Jelbb: Thanks! She is a handful, but definitely a cute handful. I really need this whole job thing to come through, I'm really hoping it does. Good luck with the campus bookstore job! I worked on campus too, super convenient.

lauren: Sorry to hear about your fight with the bf. Sometimes selfish acts just have their way of popping up every once in awhile. I feel you on the whole money issue too. My bf and I have been together 3 years now and seem to be dealing with the same kinds of things. Hope things are looking up today. Maybe google or brainstorm some cheap or thrifty activities the two of you can do together!

Aurora: I too am crossing my fingers for a loss in the morning. I'll cross extra fingers for you.

fashin: House hunting is exhausting! No wonder why you indulged. I super agree with the last 10 lbs being the hardest. Everyone seems so amazed by the ~100 lb loss on my part, yet I cant help but think those 100 were nothing compared to these 10. I, personally, am calorie counting. ~1400/day give or take. As far as exercise, my new puppy is about all the exercise I have been getting. I dabble in 30ds and am pretty active in general during the day with normal stuff.

On a better note, I survived the weekend without any major hiccups! My bf ordered (actually had me place the order) for a large stuffed crust pepperoni pizza tonight. I told myself I would have one or two bites just to satisfy my lust for it, but honestly it wasn't as good as it looked.

Anyway, I'm just trying to get through the last of my water intake for the night and heading to bed. Good luck to everyone with those Monday weigh-ins!
  • Woohoo! I gave in and picked up a scale yesterday while getting other appliances for my new place, and weighed in this morning at 149.5!

Time to move into the 140s thread . . . Good luck to you ladies with getting out of the 150s, and thanks for all the support!
  • 157.2 Today. Grr.

Still grindin' along. On plan today!
  • Still stuck. Sigh. Tomorrow?

I'm really well behaved. Breakfast: Oatmeal with coffee (200 cal). Lunch: Chicken salad with vinagrette and granola (370 cal). Snack: Yoghurt (120 cal). Dinner: Crepes with strawberry & banana and a 1 tbsp of Nutella (400 cal). Burned 950 cal at the gym. There's gotta be a loss tomorrow, right?

Blanna, lets will ourselves to go down!

Congrats, Ruby!!! That must feel great

Lauren: I hope you and the BF have worked things out!

Jelbb Any news on the job?

To those with puppies - puppies are so cute and so evil. I seriously contemplated hurting my dog when he was a puppy... and I'm pretty nonviolent! He was a 2am crier. And a 4am crier. You get the idea. Now he's great!
  • Fashin:
Well, we can both be crazy together, with our thrill-seeking weigh-ins, hahaha.

    blanna:
Any news on the job front yet?

    Ruby:
Muwaha, I'm thrilled you're in our thread, yay!!!!

    Aurora:
Hey, thanks for asking, honey! No, not yet, but I wouldn't've heard anyhow. Monday's a "civic holiday" in Canada, so... everything's closed. Well. Most things are closed, lol. Hopefully I'll hear back in the next couple of days. *all of her fingers crossed*
  • 151! so close to escapinggg. im hoping by the end of next week lets do this everyone!!
  • BLAH! TOM, up to 154.4 or something stupid like that, can't even remember now...oh well, lots of water, exercise and OP eating!
  • 155.5! Happy I went to the gym today, even though it's now been seven days in a row. I'm going to see if skipping my off day this week gives me a bigger loss. I'd really like to be as close to 150 as possible (or below it) before my trip to DC in September.
  • Aurora - good work at the gym! you should totally reach your goal by september if you keep that up!

goodday - good luck with getting to the 140s! you're sooo close

    me - 153.8 today...slowly crawling back down...
  • 151.2!!! this is the closest i have been to the 140s! I'm so excited to be seeing a 4 soon instead of a 5! Been in the 150s for ages!
  • Thanks, Skinny! It's getting a bit quiet in this thread, and I think it might get even quieter if you SweetS keep up all that steady progress.

As for me, 155.0 today, FTW! I can't remember the last time I had losses 2 days in a row. I did skip the gym today. We had some pretty bad storms yesterday, and I could tell my dog was in need of some TLC. I'm going to run some hill repeats outside my house after 7, though. I have a 5K on Friday and the first half is all uphill, so I think it makes for a good substitution.
  • Hey everyone! I haven't checked in in a while do just wanted to say congrats on all the losses!!
As for me, my weight is going all over the place! Yesterday morning i was at 156, at night i was at 158 (which is normal right?) and this morning at 154. My weigh in is this evening so i'm worried about having an overall gain I was at 155 last week.
  • Yay! weigh in at 153.6! How are all you doing?
  • kk - good work!

i'm plugging along..been eating out too much and not keeping to my running schedule, so i've been bouncing around between 153 and 154.5...headed out for a 5km run in about a half hour!
