good morning...raining here...haven't seen that part of weather for a while...well...not for what is expected....rain all week long...

the wet dog smell is all ready getting to me and they have only played in it for a few minutes...

then answer me this RUTH....why did I just realize my new Nativity has only 2 wise men?....I hope to have this resolved by Christmas...thank goodness I have several Nativity's...gonna have to rotate wise men....

2 wisemen? I think you got ripped off!

ronni62 where in Ia are you from? (If you want 2 tell me of course.) I live in SE Iowa in a town called Fort Madison and we are under a blizzard advisory! And I talked to a dear friend in Des Moines a little bit ago and they are suppose to get dumped on 2. Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Busy time of year around here for my dh and I. We are in charge of a project called Christmas for Kids, Inc where we give needy children in our area toys and clothes at Christmas. Last year we had 444 children and over 200 families. This is crunch time cuz the Angel Trees come down today and the tags with the gifts were due back today too. My phone has been ringing off the wall this afternoon. Walgreens just called and they have their toys ready to be picked up and then the lady that went to pick them up called and said her vehicle wasn't big enuf. We are so blessed to have such wonderful giving people in our community. So I am busy busy busy.

Cathy-I live near Clear Lake-you know-home of the famous Surf Ballroom and Buddy Holly's, Big Bopper's, Richie Valens' final show


We're getting ready for big snow and possible blizzard tomorrow, so did my grocery shopping today. Don't know when I'll get the Christmas shopping done, but still have a couple weeks.

I have an American friend who is a politician and she refuses to have a donkey in her Nativity scenes. She has elephants!
