That is great!! I think I have only eaten at a buffet a handful of times. I do like Shoney's breakfast bar when I am in the South. We did not do buffets because my mom said that much food was obscene.
I need excuses not to be with my MIL. They like Golden Corral. I told her I refused to eat anywhere that referred to me as a 'heifer' on their bathroom door. My kids are quite used to our not being 'the whole family' where my ILs are concerned.

Nori--I was probably 10 before I realized that fruit was not dessert. Mom gave us fruit, called it 'dessert' and we believed her. On Sundays we usually got something more sugary. (Brownie pudding.....yummmmm)
