Carol Sue, You are only 3 lbs higher than me as my weight was up 1 lb today. I'm not really sure why. I had a few bites of watermelon as we cut it last night because there were too much for 2 containers. It was after my 4 hr eating window but it was still within 10 or 11 hrs and they claim some people do 12 hr eating windows and still lose. I just don't believe that would cause my weight to go up especially since FBG was 98 this morning. Maybe it was just the water. I slept great and even went to bed earlier than usual so I actually got 8 hrs sleep which is rare for me because I like to get up everyday by 8 or 8:30 and seldom sleep later. Oh well, I will just keep eating healthy. I am beginning to wonder if maybe I'm not eating enough and my body is hanging on to what it gets. Maybe I need to be eating 1200 calories and not 1000. I'm going to try to finish reading Calorie Myths so I can give it back to Amazon.
I did get my machine and used it for 10 minutes sitting in a chair. Boy it woke the circulation in my legs. They stung so bad from them opening up, but when I put hand lotion on them they were fine. I did remember to put the lotion on this morning before I used it and I stood on it for the 10 minutes. I think as I get more comfortable with it I will be able to us it without holding on to something. DH put it behind the recumbant bike so I can use the back of it to be sturdy and I used it to hold on and do a few squats. Boy it shakes you so on low which makes me wonder how I will ever do a faster level. I also did my regular core and other weight bearing exercises that I was doing befre so all my exercise is done for today. I have to say that I feel so much better after using it. Today DS told me that she has one and it is behind her chair. I sure hope she will be encouraged to use it again.
Carol Sue, I look forward to hearing how that doctor eats. I'm trying to keep the carbs down. I'm thinking about going more balanced diet rather than carb counting etc. If his plan is similar to WW, I might be interested in it. Is this a book you bought or can it be read free?
Pork chops for today and really thinking about giving up my salads for a while and just eat other veggies. Might even try that for a while and see what happens.
