Thank you for posting this, now that I'm in phase 4, maintenance, I'm not really working with my coach anymore, Still have IP vitamins and am taking half the IP dose, but I wanted to keep vitamins in my diet when I run out of IP so it is good to know what everyone else uses. I know I've seen ourhealthcoop.com mentioned a lot Is it a specific brand at all for each of the products? Is there a good potassium supplement on ourhealthcoop or is Lindora the best inexpensive one?

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound mean, I just love my remote coaches, they've been so helpful. And the main reason to sign up with them is to get the food and the coaching. As we all know, IP is only available through a coach, so this is a way to access IP without having one nearby. It would make complete sense for the coaches to have an issue if someone signed up and uses other products, they wouldn't have any reason to believe that person is following plan, their weights and measurements are actually true, etc. It would be a complete waste of the remote coach's time, just like when someone signs up for IP in a clinic, buys little to no food, and still expects the coach to help them. If someone mixes other products with IP, at least half and half, I would think most coaches would be ok, probably similar to idealtogo, but at the same time, part of the cost of the food includes their services. From what I've read on the board, most people here paid for an initial consultation, and then just the food after that. If that is the case and you're not buying the food, you're devaluing what your coach is doing, so it would make sense to me if they get upset. If they charge for the weekly weigh-in, that's completely different.
I know one of the reasons I got so much support on Idealtogo is that I asked for it, I called or emailed my coach whenever I had a question I couldn't figure out easily. I asked how they reviewed my food, weight, etc. Just as in school, education, learning, or anything that is coached or taught, the more you put in, the more you get out. That's why I have such a great opinion of my coaches, they were so responsive whenever I needed help, and if one was going to be away, they let me know and made sure I could reach the other.
