This scares the crap out of me, too! I'm supposed to start week 5 tomorrow, and I am just terrified of that final run! A ton of people seem to say it's about 90% mental, so I'm going to try not to psych myself out over it too much ahead of time... But still! Crazyyy!Originally Posted by ap90

And Rochester, the 5 minute runs are tough, but not as bad as one may have expected. And after running week 3 twice, you'll probably have no huge issues!

It was actually kind of nice though, in it's own way. Only five intervals today made it seem like less to do, even though it really wasn't.
Last night I went out and had a drink (only one) and didn't get to bed until about 3 a.m. Then this morning when I went to the gym it was super hot! So I was already feeling tired and sweaty. I basically struggled through each and every run. I ended up walking the last one.
I know now to never do a run the morning after drinking. Looks like I'll be repeating week 2.
We're crazy around here, but very encouraging!
