Diet Coaches/Buddies - Took Gerbilina for a walk after work while the weather outside threatened; CREDIT moi. Grateful to have an elliptical at home with no waiting. And with Patti Smith
Horses (1975) blasting loudly on real speakers.
Facing a working lunch which last quarter consisted only of BIG sandwiches, chips, and desserts, I called the organizer and asked for salad in addition. Well, there was a big bowl of mixed greens
and a platter of grilled veggies. ("We knew that the kind of people who want salad like grilled veggies.") I was in heaven. CREDIT moi for eating well and CREDIT moi for taking the step to get what I wanted. The salad and veggies were snarfed by all. One more reminder that if real food is provided, people will go for it. I skipped the croutons in the greens and skipped the cookies and brownies. A separate CREDIT moi just for those.
Robin (RobinW) - Ouch for the wine and potato chips. Can you find out who's bringing those chips into the house and smack their little hands?
Anne (wndranne) - Ouch for falling into
"entitled." That seems out of the blue. Kudos for
"on track as of right now." Thanks for the good demo for us all on dong

Yay for the fatigue level 1.0 day, especially since it comes so soon after the stress of the Buffalo trip.
Kim (bennyhannamama) - Kudos for eating on plan (deficit even) on a stressful day. Ouch for a sick DD; hope she gets well before she passes it on to you.
Just noticed that the dancing broccoli looks a bit like a green banana on a bad hair day, LOL. But Kudos for having five of them; sure livens up the page.
bucket (bucketwithapurpose) - Waving. Continue to send supportive thoughts.
Beth (Greenville Beth) - Kudos for being ahead on
Day 7 - Arrange Your Environment. With a smaller plate even. Good work.
We're on the same page about lifting weights. I love my weights. They have BIG cast iron numbers on them. Makes me happy just picking them up. I just suffer a bit of pec envy when the buff guys lift the heavy stuff.
Margaret (Nuxmaga) - Kudos for sorting the
"should" out of your Advantages List. Gotta love it that
"sense of peace" is in item #1.

what to do . . .
To make your Cheat Sheet, get a 3x5 card. On it, write the following questions:Quote:
• What was the situation, and what were my sabotaging thoughts?
• Did I eat this food slowly, while sitting down and enjoying every bite?
• How do I feel now that I’ve given in?
• Had I read my Response Cards and Advantages Deck today?
• Did I try any other Resistance Techniques?
• How can I avoid this situation in the future?
• What can I say to myself next time?
Carry this card with you. Take it to an office supply store and have it laminated. Whenever you eat unplanned food, pull it out and think about your answers to these questions.
