  • Well, my night out dancing got postponed to this weekend. My friend ended up not having time to get in a nap and was too exhausted to go. We will try again on either Friday or Saturday.

    Wow - the other teams are way chattier than we are.

    As for my goal shirt, I think it would be either something like, "to be strong enough to face any challenge I choose" or "to keep on dancing until the end".

    1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of? I was able to do a back bend in yoga class. Also, I was tempted to buy a "treat" of some sort of low cal ice cream thing last night, and I resisted (these things don't work for me - I eat more than one at a sitting and it just makes me crave more stuff. I am much better off having one planned real sweet thing a week).

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week? Dance class M/W/Thus/Sat with half hour resistance training sessions before the weekday classes. Plus yoga on Saturday.

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? I am actually pretty happy where I am at the moment, but I often think about moving back to Atlanta.

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be? Vist my brother in Maui! Also I would love to go on an extended trip to Australia, New Zealand with a stop in Tahiti. Actually there are few places I wouldn't want to go.

    5. Who is your inspiration? For weight loss, there are a bunch of people here at 3FC, but mainly some of the ladies over in the 300+ area like Catherine, Annie, Zelma and Heather. I am also really inspired by Jillian and I love listening to her shows every week.
  • Sorry to have been MIA these last couple of days. We were out of town for my dh's grandad's funeral (he was 94, lead a great life, and was ready to get to heaven, so it wasn't too hard on the family ), then to London for a hockey tournament. We spent the last week living out of a suitcase, and eating at restaurants, so I am happy (for this week anyway), with maintaining my current 185. It was a huge surprise!
    It looks like we have a lot of successful "losers" weighing in this week...congrats ladies!!

    1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of?
    I had a great treadmill work out on Friday night!

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
    I want to get up early every morning this week and do a DVD

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
    Anywhere warm...I am not much of a winter chick!

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
    We went to Disney in the fall...loved it...would like to try it again, or maybe a cruise

    5. Who is your inspiration?
    In terms of weight loss?? All of you!!

    1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of?
    * Logging all of my cals, and running everyday!

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
    * Running everyday and working up to a longer time and pace.

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
    * I wouldnt want to move but I would love to travel everywhere!!!

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
    * Anywhere that is WARM!!! It is about 5 degrees here!

    5. Who is your inspiration?
    My husband is my inspiration for weight loss but my kids are my inspiration to make me a better person.
    I cant wait to see how the weighs go!!!

    I lost 3.8 pounds!

    I want to work out 5x, and do my new yoga DVD atleast once.

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
    somewhere warm, it is FREEZING right now.

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
    Europe with DF, he loves to travel and sight see, we went to NYC last October (it was his first time) and he was SO much fun to travel with!

    5. Who is your inspiration?
    Everyone here, TBL is very inspiration for me as well.
  • Yeah I can't wait to see the results for the last week either, this is really kinda exciting almost like the real thing..... It looks like everyone is doing a wonderful job and with only needing two more people to weigh in that is awesome as well.

    1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of?
    Staying OP all week, I didn't even have 2 beers (michelob Ultra) when we met up with our friends, I only had water.

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
    I want to walk on the treadmil for at least 30 minutes everyday till I leave on vacation the 27th

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
    Well Cancun was really nice but only for vacation so I would have to say maybe Utah or Nevada, I say that because it would be nice to live somewhere if you drive a couple of hours one way you would be able to snowmobile and if you drive a couple hours the other way we would be able to ride our motorcycles. We are a very out doorsy family...

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
    Well since we are below zero somewhere warm is in mind, missing my cancun trip that we usually take in Jan but we are leaving for Vegas in 6 days and it is warmer there then it is here. YEAH
    5. Who is your inspiration?
    In terms of weight loss?? All of you and Biggest Loser

    Joined the YMCA and worked out there.

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week?
    Work out at least 4 days for 30 mins each time.

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
    Maine or Portland OR.

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be?
    New York and we are leaving on Friday to go there for the first time ever!

    5. Who is your inspiration?

  • Oh, I forgot to tell what would be on my Biggest Loser shirt. My shirt would say either:

    1: To love myself
    2. To make my husband and kids proud
    3. To be able to buy clothes off of the rack from the nice stores
    4. To be a sexy, hot mama!

    I can't decide which one of those. I guess I would have to pick one of those out of a hat. lol

    I am excited that so many people have weighed in. I hope that everyone gets their weigh in posted before the deadline. I am also really happy to see so many people posting today. Keep up the great work everyone.

    I did 20 laps in my school's pool, even though I didn't need to for my PE class

  • I was just checking out the photos & measurement thread. I need to get my photos in there....only because it will be nice to see the change in my body after 12 weeks of hard work and dedication! I took the photos last Monday...not too flattering!

    I ran my fastest time yet

    To run between 20-25 miles

    hmmmm....nearer to my sister

    St. Lucia, or anywhere in the caribbean/west indies

    hmmmmmm....not sure about that. Right now for losing weight I am "self inspired" lol! Dropping the weight really motivates me to keep at it. I just got back from shopping, and I am down 2 sizes! I was so excited to try on clothes....I haven't shopped like that in a longgggggggg time.

  • Ok, I have FINALLY caught up and read all the pages, though my son was hanging on my leg for most of it.

    Where in PA? I'm in the Poconos and am curious...I also used to telemarket for some resort in Gatlenburg like 8 yrs ago lol

    3. What is your favorite exercise? circuit training- I love the tighting of my muscles afterwards-I feel stronger

    4. What is one area that you struggle? Late nite binges-it's a problem I've had for yrs and SO HARD TO BREAK
    5. What is one area of your weight loss journey that you excel at? Staying on the diet and focused as long as I can get through that initial week
    6. What is your short term goal? lose 20lbs
    7. What will you reward yourself with when you reach that goal? I told my daughter I would buy myself some new high heels-she loves them and I never wear them anymore
    8. Best weight loss tip? Water water water

    9. Bob or Jillian? Though I luv Bob's sexy "v", Jillian is freakin awesome.

    10. Tell us about yourself! 26, forever engaged (almost 9 yrs together and still not married-though it has become more of an inside joke), 2 kids (hailey 4 and gabe 1), work with autistic children, and I live in the woods.


    *If I had a million $ I would: PAY ALL MY BILLS!!!! and everyone else's in my family then buy a nicer house on a road that is not dirt and that my car can actually make up the hill in the winter-**** throw in a new car 2 with 4 wheel drive I suppose, plus lots of toys for the kiddies

    1. What is something you accomplished last week that you are proud of? I stayed OP and exceeded my exercise goal of 49 points.

    2. What is your exercise goal for the week? To earn 49 Activity Points.

    3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Right where I am. Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would it be? I want to dive the Great Barrier reef in Australia.

    5. Who is your inspiration? All women (men, too!) that have lost weight and kept it off.

  • losinitin07 I see you said you would like to live in Japan or South Dakota, I live in South Dakota so where in South Dakota and why? Just being curious and trying to get our posts up there as there is some talk that the black team is lacking in posts....
