Good morning ladies - lovely sunny one here in the UK. Well done Sheila, Willow and Angel on fantastic weight loss. Willow, I know you hoped you would lose more that 8lbs but in three weeks that is brilliant and you have done brilliantly well - look at the awful hours you have been working lately, the parade you went to and was controlled about the food. I know you have put so much effort into the last 3 weeks but it has worked - you are not carting around with you 8lbs of potatoes everywhere you go! As for the little binge - it will do you good and may not have an adverse effect on you. Remember a few weeks ago i had iced cake and custard and the next day apple pie and custard? It didnt alter my loss at all. One thing i have learned over the last 4 weeks of this is i can't predict how it's going to go by what I eat. You have done very, very well, Madam, and I see no concerns over whether I should come and perch on YOUR kitchen door top yet!! Angel, it must be difficult with your parents situation. My friend has a mum who has not recognised her for past 15 years and friend's oldest sister bears the whole brunt of caring for her, such a shame all round. Sheila - you put me to shame with your shovelling etc. Thought of it drains me! I think I will have to start some exercise soon though if i want to continue losing weight. Have to go now and prepare Sunday lunch for Hubby, mother and brother and nephew who are visiting. Got back from France at 0300 but it was worth the trip. Bought chocolate and pate but have managed to keep my jaws away. Also got lots of wines (I dont drink - all tastes yuk to me) and cigarettes (much cheaper there) but have vowed to pack them in once this lot has gone by which time I should be a shadow of my former self ha ha.
PS. Lost two pounds again this week but it was a struggle. Electronic scales kept flickering between 153 and 153.5 so naturally I went for the 153!!! Best wishes to all, xx

I now have a mental picture of you and I peeking around the edge of kitchen doors like a couple of Kilroys. ... Just eyes and nose visible at times.
Congratulations to all on your successes this past week. I hope I at least have a loss this Wednesday. Even a half pound would thrill me at this point.
Sorry about the salmon and eggs - I felt the same way when I read the recipe and I don't even like salmon. I like very mild fish, like orange roughy.
Isablue!! It's so good to have you. Don't just peek!
Post more & let us know about you.

WHAT A DREAM!! Could it have been a delayed reaction from those salmon & eggs?! hehe
