Yesterday was day 1 on Meta Quick. I also decided to take a "short" road trip which ended up being 6 hours long! While I did take along a HNC in case I wasn't back for my dinner time, I didn't eat dinner until around 9:30 p.m. and had a huge headache by then. I don't think I'll be trying 7 and 1/2 hours in between lunch and dinner again while I'm on Meta Quick.
I'll try another question and see if anyone answers me this time. Does anyone else feel like they have a fever (hot) from time to time? I'm past menopause (went through it in my early 40's) so I know they are not hot flashes. I wondered if this was part of the ketosis process.
Hope to hear from someone...
Sorry I didn't respond, have never used the powders so I didn't know. Was hoping someone else had and could give you some info. About the hot flashes, it makes sense to me that it is diet related. Our fat cells store hormones and when we are losing weight and releasing that stored fat, the hormones come out as well. For me, I went several extra weeks w/o my TOM. Then it lasted almost 2 weeks when it did show! Others have had other disruptions in cycles. So, since hot flashes are hormone induced and now you are having a flood of hormones from the weight loss, I think it could be connected.Originally Posted by llaura33
Well, in spite of no response to my posting yesterday, I thought I would share that the veggie powder is not gross. It does have a strong spearmint flavor to it so I would recommend putting it with something that it won't clash with. I love the green tea cranberry HNC and think it would taste good with it. Today I will put it with my creamy cocoa for a lovely minty chocolate drink. Yesterday was day 1 on Meta Quick. I also decided to take a "short" road trip which ended up being 6 hours long!
