Bette k: Glad you aren't affected by the floods. I hope the best for Iowa. Such a tragedy in so many ways.
reda: what kind of racing does your son do?
Oolong: congrats on being biggest loser!
Barb: one of my favorite moments of BL is the second time they get on the scale, the first time they show a loss. What an amazing moment that must be! The finals are pretty cool, too.
Manick: I can totally relate to the 5 lbs at a time thing, too...exactly what happened to me. Now if I can just not notice and wake up one day and the weight have been gone 5 lbs at a time!

Cute doggies. Puppies are fun but they are a lot of work! I like both big and small dogs but I choose to have small dogs because the size of their poops is more manageable.
Ann: what a tough decision. I wish you luck with the meeting.
Well, yesterday wasn't very successful. Today has started off well but it's always supper that kills me. It's my turn to cook tonight, so I know we will eat healthy. When hubby has to cook, he can talk me into eating out so that doesn't go so well. When he doesn't feel like cooking, I have to start saying, "Okay I will cook then" even though I don't feel like cooking either. It's up to me to put healthy stuff in my mouth. Weightloss doesn't happen by accident! Today is laundry day. Not too bad today, I only did 2 loads so far, I think I may have 1 more load but that's it. We are lucky in that we have free laundry, we just have to share it with the other tenants. So far, I haven't had to wait for the washer or dryer.
I have a question for you all: do you think it is bad to watch the Food Network? I don't really think it affects me to watch it, but just in case, I've been staying away from it. But I love me some Alton Brown!
