I am having my Bullet coffee while writing. Will have my eggs, bacon, greens and pinch of grated cheese breakfast in a few minutes. I'm going to work at getting a routine down today with my new plan. Will keep my carbs between 50 to 60 grams a day. If I get a good routine, I won't have to count.
I am keeping a journal of what I eat just so I will know how it makes me feel.
Liliann I understand about the fruit. I like the fruit too, but I've decided that at least for now I have to give it up. YMMV and you might be able to have a few berries in your shake, but I would never go a full serving. I was going to start putting some blueberries in yogurt or something like that but it was more carbs than I want to spend. You just have to learn how to make it work and sometimes it doesn't. You #1 goal right now is to get your bs down to the normal range an learn how to keep it there. I am speaking from my own experience there.
p.a. I've experienced that feeling to some extent when I would take DH glimiperide, but never to the extent you and Carol Sue have. You have to really be careful on that. Thank God you woke up and able to take care of it. What brand of yogurt do you use. Some say you don't have to count the carbs in yogurt, but my doctor says yes it is still sugar. IDK what to do about it. So I just haven't been buying it any more. Can't find low carb yogurt any more.
