  • Hey everybody! Sounds like we're all movin' along! Good for us!

    Oct. 19: 2 mile
  • So I went running yesterday outside for the first time. I brought my Nike Ipod thingy to measure my distance but it turns out that it only works if you turn it on. So not logging anything for the weekend 'cause I really have no idea how much I did.
  • didn't get much exercise this weekend.. but went this morning to the gym.
    2.22 miles on the eliptical
  • Oct. 19: 9 miles on bike
    so
    67.75/50

now if only the scale would start moving!!!
  • did double time this morning.. went back to the gym for another 35 on the eliptical. did another 2.36 miles.
  • Monday Movin'!
Good Monday Morning To all. Some of you are kicking some serious mileage butt!! I agree with urockmom. I wish the scale would start to show some of my hard work. But my clothes are getting less tight feeling, even out of the dryer my jeans require less SQUEEZING. But it would be nice to see the scale drop alittle too. Well I took Sunday off, to do serious house cleaning. But I am back on the wagon to earn 4.2 miles in 60 minutes to day on my ski machine. WoooHoooo!
OOps forgot my total.................45.9 getting close!
  • oct. 20 2.60
  • Oh can I join? I am attempting to ride (on my recumbent stationary bike) 1,859 miles before Christmas next year! I started a week ago yesterday and have 73 miles done. YaY

Why? My husband will be deployed soon and that is how far it is to where he will be and when I 'get' there, he will be ready to come home.
  • Hi Kati, glad your here too! Might as well count your riding and kill two birds with one stone. Any and all exercise counts, as long as your moving
  • I slacked off this weekend, so I did 4 miles of walking to try to make up for it.

    32 + 4 = 36/50!
  • hit the treadmill tonight
    oct 21 3.50
  • Well, I've been on an exercise break for the last two days due to a small physical ailment, which is so incredibly uncomfortable, it's hard to sit or stand. (And I haven't found any exercises I can do laying down yet.) Suffice to say, I hope tomorrow, it's all "behind" me and I'll be back up and pedaling.

BTW, crazy, I think you put the whammy on me!
  • 17.7/50 total

I'm going to fall short of this challenge's goal but this is more exercise than I've done in years and I'm thrilled about it! Although I've only lost 8 pounds, I swear my pants are fitting better due to the walking/running I've been doing.
