  • 164... I want to see this GONE by Thanksgiving and not to creep back after that family food fest either!
  • LiLLy Hah, I'm noticing that I'm becoming a lightweight (in comparison to before I changed my lifestyle) as well! One of the beers I like a lot is a low carb beer which therefore makes it slightly lower in calories, but I still find it really hard justifying those calories - in fact I haven't had a beer since I changed my lifestyle. I haven't had wine either, and I used to drink that with at least a few meals per week! I still go out sometimes, but I drink either Bacardi and coke zero or vodka lime and soda - but since summer is hitting us here in the southern hemisphere very soon, the thought of a beer on a hot day is making me think about the planning aspect! Oh man long post sorry!
  • Still 169.8 today.

Oh man, I am becoming SUCH a lightweight. I used to be a champion drinker - on Saturday, I had three glasses of sangria and two shots - and passed out on my friend's couch before 930PM! That used to be my pregame!

I can't imagine giving it up for good, so it's still a part of my plan, just much, much more infrequently (and better caloric choices). I just need to learn to pace myself!
  • Sarahflower - welcome welcome, may your stay be as short as possible here!

Rainbowstripe - Beer in the summer is a must! I haven't really cut anything out of my diet so to speak, I'm just learning how to eat and live better with all the things that I enjoy. So I do still enjoy alcohol, but don't overdo it. One thing that's pretty much gone is fast food, only have it once in a while, like once a month.

fatmac - Mmmm sangria! Love love love love it. Althought I cant have more than one glass at a time cause it becomes too sweet for my taste buds. LOL at passing out at 9:30! Ive done that too with what I used to pregame with...eeeekk that was a kick in the butt.
  • Oh forgot the most important part!!!! As of this morning I weigh 160.8. I will cry when I see the 150's pop up on my scale.
  • Lilly- I think sangria gets too sweet too, so I usually cut it with about a third sparkling water. Even watering it down didn't slow me down on Saturday though!

    Whoohooo! Go LiLLY19!
  • Oh no Jumped from 160.9 yesterday morning to 162 pounds this morning (from 73kg to 73.5kg). I think it's water retention from the absurd amount of sodium in my lunch yesterday - also perhaps that my muscles are a lot more sore from jogging on monday and then zumba last night - I dunno. I'm sure I can't have had an actual gain, so I'd like to not get disheartened. I'm not moving my ticker up either.

AWESOME! Good job and let's hope you see those 150s soon
  • Thanks Lilly! I never eliminate beer out either -- I am a huge beer fan. I don't drink a lot though, and I usually go to this local pub (hundreds of beers!) and something high-gravity so I only need one. It's a little more expensive, but totally worth it, and it fills me up. It's good that you've found a way to eat less without cutting anything out.
  • 167.8 today! YAY!!
  • Thank you ladies for the support!! ))

Rainbowstripe - i wouldn't move it up either, and I didn't a few weeks back and now its coming off again. Im sure its a temporary stall for you.

Sarahflower - I dont think I would have been able to stick to a "diet" if I eliminated everything that I enjoy, so scaling down works for me.
  • Up to 163 again... >_< Sigh.

Stick to it... stick to it... I'm not moving my ticker back....
  • Woo, down to 166.8! Finally, after 3 days of slight increases, it's good to see the number going down again.
  • At 169 solid. Now to get to 165 by 11/20!! I live in Japan, so I don't really have to deal with Thanksgiving. But, I still have the temptation of delicious treats.
