Karen, I'm so sorry! What devastating news. Illness at this stage is all encompassing, there's no way around it. Walking may take on a new meaning for you at this time of your life. Regardless of how many miles, you just may need it as respite to clear your head, be alone with your own thoughts, or find a bit a rest from care taking.
