Oh my, it’s been so long since I’ve done personals. Work has been crazy the past 10 days or so, I have been struggling with a cold, sore throat etc. I don’t have the sore throat anymore, but I’ve had a terrible sinus headache for a week or so. I probably won’t get everyone, but I’ll try to hit the highlights.
DK – It’s nice to do some non-traditional exercising like walking the dog, yard work, etc. Time flies by quicker which is nice.
Cassie – Congrats on the 3.5 lbs. That’s awesome! I know it’s frustrating to not reach your goal by the time you want, but you are so close. And look where you’ve come from. Don’t dwell on the 7 pounds to go but on the 83 pounds you’ve already come. You should be so proud! Good luck on all of the schoolwork.
Tina – Congrats on doing so well with your OA. I’m glad that it is helping you so much. I hope your eye gets better soon.
Catsgetnhealthy – Congrats on making it into the 230’s. It’s a great accomplishment and it’s great to celebrate our accomplishments. Spring Cleaning….I need to do that too. Think of all the calories you’ll burn!
Danielle – I’ve enjoyed your MPMU page! You and Melissa are going to have to give Bob a big hug from all of us when you get to meet him in person.
(the power of positive thinking, right?!)
Kari – I hope you can overcome the desire to stress eat. I’m a stress eater so I understand the struggle. You have to try to remember how you feel after you’ve done it. I always regret it which leads to more stress. Hang in there! I’m glad you could throw out the temptations. I hope your life becomes less stressful soon.
Hun.e.B. – I just have to say that I really enjoyed the updated hula hooping video. Count me impressed! We’ve missed having you around as much as usual. You are truly inspiring and I enjoy hearing from you. I hope your life tames down very soon!
Jen – Don’t let the scale get you down. You’ve got a great perspective to keep going. I’ve been starting my days with exercise, too. While most of the time I would rather stay in bed, it’s nice to have accomplished something before my shower or breakfast.
Andi – congrats on the 3 pounds and during TOM no less. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
Terapet – Sounds like you’re doing great with the exercise. I just started some strength training and have been using 5 lb weights. I’m so weak that I cannot imagine using anything more. I can’t wait until the day that I look at 5 lb-ers and think how light they are!
Counting – I hope you have a wonderful trip! Can’t wait to hear how it goes!
Melissa 73 – Congrats on the 25 lb magnet and 10% key chain. That’s so exciting and I know how you were looking forward to it! I’ve looked at your weight numbers and now your inches lost and you are doing amazing! You’re a rock star!! Thanks for being an inspiration to me and so many of the rest of us!
Cat – Your Nike + track sounds great. I’m not a runner but have been trying to find some music to play on my iPod during some of my exercise videos that I’ve done so many times I can recite every word. The BK is done and over. Way to go to moving on and not let it deter you. Yeah for having your trainer say you are smaller in the belly area. That’s so rewarding!
Diva – thanks for the encouragement. I’m a little freaked out by the cholesterol levels, but I’m proud that I’ve been doing things in the past 3 months to improve my health.
Laura – ditto on the encouragement. Thanks! I’m glad you could resist the cookies. I know you’ll compensate for the extra calories from last night! You’re so good at the exercise! Any marathons this weekend?
Emily – It’s great to hear from you. I could echo your sentiment on (stupidly - meaning me not you

) playing around for too many years in losing weight. This is my time to do it, and it’s yours too. Let’s make this our year! Congrats on resisting the cupcakes!
Rennie – Your husband sounds great! I need to buy some new clothes for my vacation in Florida this summer, but I’ve been holding off hoping to be a different size.
Muse – They had a special machine that they put our blood work in. It only took 5 minutes to get the results. Your bike looks cool. I have never been much of a bike rider. My parents didn’t let us ride much when we were little because they were afraid of us getting hurt by cars, etc. I’ve never been that good. When I was in high school, I started a babysitting job for the summer for 2 very rambunctious boys. On the first day, I rode their mom’s bike and we all went on a bike ride.

Half way through the ride, the boys looked back and I was lying on the ground because I had fallen.

Way to gain their respect on the first day! Boy that was a long summer! I hope you can get your eating back to healthier selections. I really have to limit my treats or I can go overboard quickly.
Mom 23 – Hi! I hope you have a great day!
