  • Because I fly to my parents' house tomorrow for eight days, and I won't be 100% in control of my food while I'm there. I will be in charge of the choices I make, though, and of sticking to my workout routine. Even with Christmas looming I know I can come home lighter than when I left, if I set my mind to it.
  • I've come to stay with my parents and my mum told me I'd lost weight over the past 2weeks, I want to make them even happier by keeping up this loss.
  • because giving up gets me nowhere that I want to be
  • because I was out of control during the weekend
  • Because I know I'll be less on plan while I'm home for the holidays, starting on Thursday.
  • because I know I wont be OP on Christmas. So I better be good now to try holding the number on the scale at least a bit...
Gosh, this time of the year is so difficult for us!!!
  • Because I'm sooooo close to Onderland, and I will make it by New Years!
  • I'm so gutted at the fact that my scales suggest I've put on 3lbs in two days!! So that's enough of overeating , and a return to my plan I need to lose some of these extra pounds by NYE!
  • Because if you *pretend* today is New Year's Day, it is easier to stay on plan! All that fresh energy, etc...
  • because I'm sick of being stalled.
  • I will stay on my plan today because every journey begins with a step - in this case - with a day of food sanity. If I can get through today - I am hoping/planning to be able to get through tomorrow.
  • Because I didn't do *that* badly while I was visiting my folks, and I'd like to see a loss when TOM ends in a day or two.
  • Because I ate like a pig during Christmas events
  • Lyn - I love your 'pretend it's New Years' idea!

I will stay on plan because I did yesterday - after months of overeating - it felt good and I want to build on it.
  • because the eating holidays are over and it's time to return to a normal lifestyle
