    It stands for Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired. Are you hungry.... eat when you need to, not when it's too late and becomes more than just eating for nurishment. Are you angry.... walk away, journal, etc.... but don't eat for emotion. Are you lonely.... again this is emotional eating.... talk to someone, read, journal, etc. Are you tired.... rest.

    When I get tired, I want to eat. I don't know why but I think my mind gets crossed about what I need. It thinks the nourishment I need is food when it's really just rest.

    Also the hungry thing.... last week, I made the MRC mayo and it totally triggered me. I was starving for anything and everything all day. I couldn't figure it out until that night. That mayo just made me crave other foods. I didn't "go there" but it was sure difficult not to. Maybe look back at your food diary and see where the cravings started for you?

    Thanks for the advice! I'll have to do that next time it happens! I really can't pinpoint any one reason why it happened! But will have to think about it! I think part of it was for the last 2 weeks not totally eating OP. But I had resisted the sweets for those 2 wks! So hmmmm who knows.

    CONGRATULATIONS 3MM!!!!! That's awesome. As Donuts used to say, the sky is bluier, the grass is greener (I'm sure under the snow) and the dogs and cats even play nicer in ONEDERLAND!!! Glad you made it here!!

  • Today is my first day of the green menu I hope I am well on my way to replacing all my underwear! You all are so inspiring for me! I just can’t wait to be rid of this weight!!!

    i posted in the noob thread about the preconditioning.. is there actually a menu for that?? i was told simply to get my water up, ditch the caffiene (which i already had except occasionally) and start cutting back on carbs which i have too... i go in tmw to weigh for some reason and my first class on friday when i'll buy my drinks....

    I was given a white paper that said Meal Selector at the top, with Columns A, B, C, and D underneath it. That is what we are susposed to eat from on Pre-conditioning. Of course my center also told me that the biggest thing was to watch my portions, and start weening the carbs and caffeine.
