My mojo's coming back

I was feeling really fat and lazy on Tuesday and Wednesday during the day, and really didn't want to run last night even though it was lovely weather. I forced myself to go out in the end, and did just under 8 miles, then ran to the gym this morning before doing my weights workout. It gets me there quicker than the bus, I just can never manage to be organised enough to leave stuff at the gym, and I hate running with a bag as I haven't found one that's comfortable. I picked up a running rucksack in a sale for £5 recently so I decided to give it a go, it wasn't too bad for bounce, but it rubbed a bit so I've got lovely red marks on either side of my neck today! I just hope they're not too visible... I think I need to use some vaseline or wear a top with a collar next time I attempt that. It really slows me down too, I can't believe I used to be able to run when I was carrying much more weight than that bag!
Anyway, the good news is that 6 of the 10 pounds have now gone, which puts me back at 153. That seems to be the weight my body is most comfortable at, actually. When I've been on plan for a couple of weeks I can get down as low as 149 (which is where I was before Easter), and when I have a bit of a break I bounce back towards the higher 150s, but I always seem to settle for a while at 153 in between the two. Hopefully I'll get back on track after the weekend when mum goes home (not that I don't like her being here, but it disrupts my routine - it's hard to find the time for long runs, and over the past week I went for 6 days straight of eating out at restaurants and drinking alcohol, so it's no wonder my weight bounced up a bit as that's more than I normally eat out in a month).
I'm looking forward to tonight, it will be my first night in since last Tuesday, and my new veggie box will be here (I cancelled it last week because we weren't going to be around to eat it) so I can finally get some fresh veg in me. Mum's out at my grandparents so I can just relax and unpack from the weekend (I got home at 10pm on Monday, went to the rugby after work on Tuesday getting in after 10, and running club last night getting in at 9). Then tomorrow I'm planning to do my long run after work (exciting Friday nights!) because mum's out again, then off to Huddersfield for the weekend probably.
