Good morning everyone! I keep forgetting to come here and post, I really struggle with consistency.

I'm still hanging there. A few days ago I started taking Lyrica for my PsA so far I have not seen any side effects, not sure if it working but as I understand to see changes will take a few weeks on it. I did noticed today that my face is really puffy and I'm up 3lbs from Friday I'm thinking it is probably inflammation from foods I ate yesterday.

I already had my morning I walked 2 miles with hubby I think I'm going to start posting my meals, so I can keep myself more accountable every day, For breakfast I had oatmeal with blueberries, banana, cinnamon, and flax seeds.

nettnett73 - I hope you knee is doing better today.

I'm here! Maybe that's the best I can today. Very busy. I'll say this...I much prefer living without my gut getting in the way of everything. Physically and emotionally. My gut is not at it's worst, but it isn't great. Asking HP to help me stay strong!

Hello everyone!
I am 'mostly' caught up with the posts.
Eating still 1/2 good, 1/2 bad. As always it is the evenings that do me in. Last night it was a small bowl of Doritos and two small caramels.

I had an MRI last friday, the tech did not tell me to remove my hearing aids and the MRI fried the receivers so had to go to Costco for a repair. The MRI was for my left knee, the same one that had the cortisone shot in March. They believe it is a torn meniscus. I find out next week. If this is the case then surgery will take place. ugh.

Hence the no workouts now for the past 8 months. I hope we can at least start going back to the YMCA in June.

anyway I wanted to stop in and say HI

Good Morning, Everyone!

Good to see everyone posting about their day.

Nancy Yikes I never thought that would happen about the hearing aids.

Steps from yesterday: 13,018

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy!

Copied from Crosswalk Devotions for Dieters

May 21

Hebrew 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Jimmy wanted the bicycle so badly he could taste it. His mother and father had told him to save for it, and they would help him buy it. He remembered his father saying, 'If it's important enough to you, you'll be surprised how easy it is to save your money.' He hoped this was true, because he sure wanted the bike. If we want to lose weight badly enough, we will be surprised how easily we can stick to our diets. When the goal is great enough, we find sufficient supplies of faith and determination to overcome any temptation.

Today's thought: I want to be a substantial person without having a substantial body!

Afternoon
I've had a productive day. Started out cleaning the guest bathroom. Went to the grocery store, the park and the gym. Think my knee needed some exercise as it feels much better afterwards.
Nancy oh my on the hearing aids.
Ciecie thanks for asking about my knee. As mentioned before I think it needed some exercise. It feels better.
Need to put another load of clothes in the washer.
Have a great day

Good evening, I forgot to post this morning Yesterday was a good day. I kept myself busy cleaning and ate pretty well. I ended up the day with 13,929 steps my goal is to hit 10K daily. Today, I went for my 2miles morning walk with DH. Breakfast and lunch were as planned. For dinner, I wasn't feeling too hungry and I was craving a green smoothie. I have been less active today and not sure if I will hit 10K today, so far I have 8,571 and it is almost 8pm.
Green Smoothie:
- 2 cups of spinach
- 1/3 cup cucumber
- 1/3 cup celery
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbs hemp seeds
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1tbs 100% raw cacao
- 1tbs collagen peptides
- 1/2 cup of greek yogurt
- 8oz water

Nettnett- glad to hear the knee was much better after you exercised.
Nancy- sorry about your hearing aids, I hope the MRI goes well. I have a small tear on my left meniscus, I opted out for not surgery, however, I do still get pain here and there but not as bad as when I first injured.
