  • I messed up yesterday

    B: Balance bar. That's all I had time for.
    L: Kashi Southwestern Chicken frozen meal
    S: Cucumber slices with hummus
    D: Lean steak, mixed veggies, corn on the cob with butter, and potato salad
    Annnnd heeeere is where I messed up most:
    FAMOUS AMOS! The girlfriend and I opened up a bag and mindlessly ate them together while watching the new episode of Law & Order Criminal Intent. I counted them anyway and am ashamed to say I ate eight of those little cookies. 300 calories.

    Is this the cereal you are eating? The idea of a pumkin cereal sounds so good to me. I searched and this is the only one I came up with. Where do you get yours?

  • Hey Shrinking Momma - that's what it is!!! I think it's so good, but I have to measure it every morning or I can't stick to a serving size

    Thanks! I'll have to check Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to see if they have it. I'm looking forward to trying it.
  • I bought it in a regular grocery store!

    I haven't been writing it down, but everyday I've had about 100 calories of lime chili mangos, I should be accountable!!

    Friday

    B - 1/2 cup organic Pumpkin flax cereal, about 1 cup of organic vanilla non fat yogurt

    S - 8 oz strawberries

    L - tuna salad on whole grain bread (made with lite mayo, onions, pickles), 1/2 sliced heirloom tomato, spinach leaves

    S - 100 calories of good dark chocolate

    S - orange

    S - cut up veggies - grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, baby carrots, orange pepper strips

    D - home made pasta sauce - sun dried tomato, basil, red wine, veggie crumbles, canned tomatoes, onion, garlic, served over 2 oz whole wheat pasta (I add spinach leaves to mine)
