I've been sick off and on and I stopped Convict conditioning. I decided though I wanted to start supercharged so I did my first workout today. So far, so good :)

I think upping calories if you are doing a heavy lifting program is ok. Honestly, for the past few years I have eaten between 50-100g/protein per day and have gained a lot of muscle during that time...
