He sure is! ACD/Mastiff/Rottie...from what we were told It looks about right to me, based on both looks and behaviour.
He's wonderful...my big sucky baby, the 70 pound lap doggie!
Geo on the other hand is quite the enigma, and we even got to see both of her parents (frustrating story)

I don't quite see the Rottie from the pic, but I can see the Mastiff around his eyes... and he's definitely got a lot of ACD in him!
Here are a few more of my favorite pics of Jaz. And, 1 of our friend's dog, Martini.
I believe his momma was a PB ACD and his daddy was a rottie (or possibly Dobie x mastiff.)
He's got the sideways-ish kind of run of an ACD, the suckiness of a mastiff, and definitely like to "herd" the kids...if they're not together, he'll run from one to the other, it looks like he's counting them, or keeping track somehow.

I do loves my babies!

Aren't ACDs fun?? I just love all of Jaz's little quirks. Does he like Frisbee? Jaz is getting pretty good at it.
Does he sit with one leg cocked out to the side? That seems to be a common ACD trait.
Jaz also like to "herd" those big plastic balls you can get at Wal-Mart. They're her yearly treat. lol She usually gets one or two per year, and they're usually busted in about 5 minutes. But man, does she love it. We've been meaning to get her one of those big horse balls (wait, that sounds gross... you know what I mean though! LOL) but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe for x-mas this year.
Ok, here are some pics of Jaz playing with her favorite rubber ball. And also one of her resting during a purple ball herding workout.
I have a great picture of my fat cat, but I'm not quite sure how to post it. Can anyone tell me how to attach pictures? I have the file in Kodak and and My Pictures.
shelliebellie: your smokey looks just like my friend's cat, who is ALSO Smokey. *lol* we call her fang, though, because she's got one tooth that hangs down like a fang, even when she has her mouth closed... used to have two, but one broke off.
This is Charlie, our English Setter. He's 2 years old and very big for a setter, they normally don't get as tall and long. He has a very gentle nature and loves everyone. DH takes him Pheasant hunting all the time and he loves it.
Aren't pets wonderful!
They are my great danes.
Somewhere in my mind I thought that having a couple of huge dogs to walk would make me look less fat. Pathetic huh!?! but I love them to death.
You're two Great Danes are beautiful, what are their names. I feel like a cousin to your dogs, I'm a full blooded Dane myself. I have a zillion relatives in Denmark. I love the markings on the second picture you posted, how much do they weigh. Do they eat you out of house and home? I tried posting a pic of my dog on the thread just above this one but it didn't work.
I'm going to try again, my English Setter is black and white too! He's big for a setter, very tall and long. He has the best nose in our county and a fantastic bird dog.
