I think Molly would be cute as someone else suggested. Also I've always liked Abby for a little girl pup. Or you could have a play on the names that you and your hubby like and call her Dahli Luna. Lol i dunno

Thanks for letting us help you!

I like the names:
*Sydney
*Lucy
*Molly (a fav by lots of us)
*Chloe (I second that)
*Zoe (like joey)

But you could look at some Tibetan names too... some are funky, but some may work...

I found:
*Cimba (which means small)
*Kona (which means exclusive)

And there are many more you may find cute in there that also has a suitable meaning.

Good luck and she's adorable! What a face!!

Whoever suggested Dhali Luna - that is too cute. Or 'Dolly Luna'?

OMG - the cuteness, I can't stand it!

How about Dharma? In Buddhism this term is commonly used to refer to the teachings of the Buddha. It is also used in several other religions originating in India, all of them seem to use the term in a way referring to "duty" or "truth" or "path of righteousness". Tibetan Terriers are supposed to be very faithful and dutiful companions, could be fitting.

Whatever you choose, enjoy getting to know your newest family member!

We go to get her tomorrow! My husband erased my favorite name, Luna. If we called her Dahli Luna, I wonder if he'd call her Luna if I did??? Hmmm....

On the chalkboard after people started erasing...

Violet- bit hard to say but a flower name like our last dog, Lilly
Polly
Dharma
Ella- can't use right? Little girl behind us is Ellie
Fiona- don't like the nickname Fi
Lucy- Husband is Rick, my friend heard it and started the annoying , "Rickyyyyy" voice. It's from Snoopy! I wonder if people would do that voice...
Phoebe- I just stuck that up there
Claudia- I added this too

Hopefully, she will reveal her name on the way home in the car. We have a 4 hour trip each way.

I'm so excited for your new puppy!

I think the name will come to you when you see and hold her. That's how we named my Kelsey. I had many names in my head, but that wasn't one of them. Then when we got her home, the name just came. Weird, huh?

(And yes, Lucy is from Snoopy.... LOL! Not from Ricky and Lucy!)

Good luck and I'm excited to hear her name!!! Let us know ASAP!

When we got a new puppy many years ago we took the first letter of my husbands name and the first letter of my name. So the puppy ended up being TK. Which was a very personal name and was one that just fit.

I called my best friend to run the names by her and she did the annoying I Love Lucy voice 5 times! She thought it was so funny and I told her she was ruining the name. I erased it. On the blackboard now, just Willow. Thinking, thinking... I even look at billboards!

We leave in the am to pick her up, 4 hours each way.

The way we named our dog is each of us picked 3 names put them in a hat and just pulled one out.

Thanks everyone! She is home. For a bit we tried Hazel but she is very active and Hazel seemed to sedate for her.

She is Luna!

If you read Harry Potter...
