Default new bf mom looking for weight loss buddy

I have 2 month old ( I also have a 4yr old, both boys) that I am exclusively bf and finally feel that it is safe to start trying to lose weight bc my supply is established. I have 75 pounds to lose. I am looking for a weight loss buddy or buddies so that we can encourage and motivate each other to become healthier. So if you are excited about becoming fit lets do it together

HI there. I am new here too. Well, not actually, but it has been a few years since I have been here.
I have a 7 week old baby and am exclusively breastfeeding. I lost about 30 lbs in the first 2 weeks after delivery and I haven't dropped another ounce since then. I stay so hungry all the time, and can't find the time to excercise or eat right. The baby only naps in my lap during the day...I know I have spoiled him, but he is my last one, so that is okay.
What tools are you ladies using? I need advice.

You're not spoiling him. You cannot spoil a baby less than two months old. The tool I most recommend is a sling or a harness carrier like a Snugli or Infantino. Either one will let you easily take a walk why your baby naps. An Infantino is much simpler to get the hang of, but a sling is more versatile in the long run. Your hubby can watch the older kid(s).

Other than that...Make sure you're eating enough. You can most likely eat about 1800 calories a day & still lose weight. Make sure you eat the right things for you, something you're really only going to find out through trial and error. Generally speaking, though, fiber and protein will help keep you full longer, so try to make sure your meals incorporate both. If you don't eat beans often, they're a worthwhile addition to your diet. A half-cup serving of vegetarian (fat free) refried beans has 100 calories and about 7g fiber. Being from Texas, I know they even go with breakfast. Other beans are comparable in calories/fiber and I have found them to be about the most filling thing. They're cheap too. Just a thought...

Default losing weight

TTMOM-I am in the same situation. I feel fat and I don't feel attractive to my husband anymore. I would really like to start losing weight so that I can feel like I am his Queen again. He travels a lot so I think he would really notice the weight loss everytime he comes back-that is the real suprise! I also have 2 children-one girl 2 months old, one boy 3 years old. Let's share some stories!

In Jesus' name we pray.

Robin- You and I are almost exactly the same in our circumstances. We can lose this weight though. I know we can.

Also- all of you ladies be careful what you wish for. 1 year ago this month, I was down 40 out of 75 lbs, and I was feeling very sexy. 9 months later, our baby Holden was born!!

My baby is 3 1/2 months old. I nursed my dd til 22 months and expect about the same with this one.

I'm losing a bit faster then recommended for nursing mom's right now, but I think it will level off soon. Ive been calorie counting since my post baby weight leveled off and starting going back up at 6 weeks. Over the last 2 months I've been eating an average of 2250 calories a day and I have lost 19.4 lbs. I do workout a fair bit though.
