Talked df into taking Drece to the pumpkin patch this weekend! I know he can't do the activities but I still think he'll enjoy it! Are you ladies taking your LOs?

22 days is soo close! Maybe baby will come sooner!

We don't have a pumpkin patch, really. There's a guy here in town who's selling pumpkins on his porch, and he has it fixed up to look nice for pictures, so we're going to do that. We miss out on everything out here in the boonies!!

That sucks. We actually have to drive 45 miles to ours but there is a carters up there as well and Drece needs winter clothes so it works out great!!!

We're going second-hand shopping for clothes for Laney. I keep trying to shop online but the sizes are so wacky. It's like the person who came up with the sizes of women's clothing also sized baby clothes. I'd rather see them in person than order online and hope they fit when they arrive...

I ended up buying online since we spent to much time at the pumpkin patch itself but we stuck to carters still. We know how they fit since he already had some and they had a 40% off sale going on and I had a 20% coupon so i paid less than half price for his clothes!

The pumpkin patch had entirely too many people but we did get a baby pumpkin for Drece. How'd the pictures go Mindi?

Anyways, Drece has a bad respiratory infection right now and they think it's a milder case of RSV so we're just riding it out to see if it gets worse and using half doses of tylenol when his fever gets past 100.5 just to be safe.

How are you ladies and the babies doing?

Laney is doing fine! 5 months old now. Taking her for an official weight and measurement this afternoon so we can put it in her baby book

The pics went great. Ended up using DH's mom's front porch, which was decorated kinda cute. I'll try to attach one here...

I, however, am not doing well. CANNOT lose weight. I've got a "creep" going on. Even though I'm eating great and working out I keep gaining

Hi everyone

Colton and I are doing well. My main challenge is that I'm really struggling with doing school and juggling taking care of Colton at the same time. Does it get easier?

Oh, and Colton is ready to eat every two hours at night. I don't know when it will get easier. I get conflicting information everywhere I turn.

Also, I'm struggling with losing weight. I cut out all the excess sugar in my diet which was my main problem with my weight. I'm exercising, too. But I still can't go lower than 190 lbs. So I understand how hard it is now!

Here's a few pictures, too:

Sacha we haven't heard from you lately... does that mean baby's here? :-)

Mindi, if you are still BF I think it's okay if your weight is plateauing or creeping. I have a friend who was doing intense workouts while breastfeeding and watching her diet and her weight never moved. She said at that point she decided to ditch the dieting and exercising because "If I don't even gain, why not eat what I want!!" LOL

DH and I have had 2 weekends now where one set of parents watches Keri while we get to do fun "big kid" stuff. I love when his parents watch her because his mom and aunt take the best pictures AND post them to facebook immediately!!!!

Sorry no baby LOL I am 39+2 and zero signs of anything happening.

I am actually now 3 days "overdue" from my LMP but 5 days to go according to my dating ultrasound (I had irregular cycles).

Sorry to hear some of you girls are struggling so much! TBH it took 12 months for me to really get back down to normal after my son (and that was with being right on track with diet and exercise). Postpartum weight loss is just so much harder. The sleep deprivation, the massive change in lifestyle, the hormones... ugh. It kills me that my husband could just go and do a great workout a week later!!!!

Not breastfeeding, biancasimone Didn't work out for us.

I noticed my MyFitnessPal site was set to "Lose 1/2 pound a week" instead of "Lose 1 pound a week" and I was eating maybe 200 calories more a day than I needed to be for losses - and that's on the days I didn't go over. If I went over, it's no wonder I wasn't losing. Doesn't explain the "gains" though since I didn't go THAT much over and am still working out.

But....I'm having hormonal issues too. I'm back on the pill (my third month now) and have started my period during my last week of "active" pills. Gonna call the doctor today.

Mindi - I wasn't breastfeeding after the first month either and that's when things really started to slow down to a crawl (and even a bit of gain). I think women tend to go a variety of ways, either they hold onto the weight from BF, or they drop dramatically due to BF, and the same goes for those using formula. I'm afraid it can just be a random lottery (like how my boobs are exactly the same after but my stomach a mess, LOL).

How has your sleep been? My son didn't sleep through until 2 (and tbh, he's not doing a great job right now either!) and I found things really took off once he started letting me get solid sleep (and the reduced stress that came with it).

Recently my sleep has been good. She settled a while back into a pattern where she'll go to sleep around 7 pm, then sleep til 3:30 or 4 am, then sleep again 'til 7 am (when I have to get her up for daycare). For a few days this week she's even gone 7 pm to 6 am without waking at ALL.

I called the doctor today about my birth control issue. My gut is telling me this is hormonal, from way back before I even got pregnant. When I stopped the pill in December 2010 I started "creeping" then, and ended up gaining 10 pounds in 8 months while working out the same and eating BETTER than normal (but still plenty) since we were TTC.
