Default Thyroid disfunction

At my first midwife appt last week, my midwife felt my thyroid and felt that the left side was a little swollen or lumpy. She had me feel it to know what she was talking about. She did labs on it (TSH and T4) just to be sure.
Well those tests came back. T4 was normal but the TSH came back low. She consulted a specialist who told her that it may be something or it could be a goiter. But to retest and see where that takes us.
Thyroid issues don't run in my family at all. But I did work with an Endocrin doctor so I know what can happen and stuff. So not worried about myself but I am worried about the baby.
Please keep this pregnancy in prayer.

Please let us know what the second test shows. I hope you are worrying for nothing. Sending good vibes to you and the baby.

Praying for you and baby, mom4life. My thyroid whacked out in my first trimester with Caleb and then went back to normal in my second without medication. I hope yours goes back to normal on its own, too!

Feeling very nervous. I had the blood work done yesterday at the actual lab, hoping I get the results sooner. I had my midwife add a test that checks for thyroid antibodies.
I'm hoping its just a first trimester thing.

tests came back normal but it still doesn't explain the lump. My midwife said she would feel my thyroid at my next appt in 2 weeks to see if its still there.
