Congrats Artic Mama and zenor!
Artic Mama: My dr told me to stick between 2000-2200 and try to gain 15-20 lbs. Mom4life: I'm still gaining too, it feels like I'm consuming way too much but as long as my baby's happy and healthy I'm fine with it. :) Plus, I am still below the weight I was when I was this far along with my other two so that is pretty cool. ;) I just really don't want to hit 200, but it's sneaking up and I'm not sure if I will be able to avoid it. :( |
The way you feel about 200 is the way I feel about 250 - I will be FINE if I gain up to about 230, but if I gain to or surpass my origin al high (nonpregnant) weight I may start hyperventilating. I KNOW I shouldn't care and I never did before, but BEFORE I hadn't dedicated over a year of my life to losing my excess weight.
GAH! |
That's where I'm at now. I might not be remembering correctly or maybe so but I think I was at my pre-pregnancy weight (140'ish) with my previous 3 kiddos and ballooned to 209-215. by the 20th week, I'd already gained 20 lbs. So even though I don't mind the weight gain, I worry about doing another 20/20 again. Last I checked at a doctors office (last tuesday) I was already at 12 lbs. I'm hoping it was just another case of a doctors scale being off.
