Hello, I will try this again. I am new here and just looking for a buddy to diet with. I have a long way to go but I am determined. I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago while TTC. I was put on glucophage just to get pregnant and it worked for me. I have always been big but got bigger after the birth of my son. I got Gestational Diabetes and put on a strict diet so I didn't gain much while pregnant. I had a c-section then 2 weeks after my son was born I had my gallbladder removed so I couldn't do much and I put on more weight. I was also put on birth control which I think made me balloon even more. I just went off it and I am doing the same diabetic diet I was on when I was pregnant and I have already lost. Which I am happy about. I have a long way to go and just looking for someone to chat and compare notes and help eachother along the way. So feel free and say Hi.

Hi there! Good for you for losing 12 pounds! Are you following the standard diabetic diet? I've never followed that, but I've done low carb and low glycemic. Right now I am just focusing on calories. On Atkins, SBD, and SB, there isn't any calorie control method, and as a fat chick, who am I to say when I am full?
