I am sorry you hurt right now.

It's so hard to stick with a diet like this and just give up when you don't see or feel any results.

It IS hard.
You saw results. In previous diet attempts you lost X WITH a metabolic condition. That part was good.
Then you compared yourself to others in your groups who lost Y lbs. You choose to feel hurt/discouraged because you hoped for faster results and told yourself you/your efforts were not good enough. That part? Not so good.
I am not criticizing -- at all. I'm also not devaluing your efforts. I'm trying to point out that PCOS people
just have to learn to be ok with measuring by a different yardstick. It's just NOT the same as non-PCOS people. YKWIM?
*hug*
Take a deep breath. We present in at least
5 different ways as PCOS patients so even what works for one PCOS patient might not for another.
Take heart -- you CAN do this. Just try to let go of a time table, expecting your body to behave like it does not have PCOS. Worth WITH it rather than against it.
We can cheer you on!
Hang in there!
A.
