Bad news...ruined my goal. I've gone to 5 different grocery stores looking for chawanmushi (it's a steamed egg custard with vegetables, seafood, and sometimes a little meat cooked in and as I'd seen microwavable versions, I figured it would be quicker in the morning than making eggs)...and I found it at 7-11 when I went to pay my electric bill. I checked the nutrition facts and the 8 grams of protein/40 kcals per cup in this particular recipe was too good to pass up. TT^TT /failure

Edit: Not that it changes the fact that I failed, but I DID make a point of riding my bike past 3 other 7-11s to go to the one about 8km from my apartment so that I could get more exercise in. In the process I learned that there's lots of super sketchy hotels near where I live o.O

Things at work have been beyond crazy. I'm hoping to get to the doc the week after next.

I'm SOOOO sick of my scale ... ready to throw it out the window. I keep fighting with the same 5 pounds and it's driving me crazy. Granted, I am not doing the best I can every day, and there are days when I absolutely go crazy. So I guess I'm doing it to myself. LOL Just venting anyway. :)

Kerp focused! My weekends are my struggle but I've made a mental note abd did better this weekend minus the cake lol I never have cake but I know it makes me sick, guess who was sick for the ride home yesterday?! Uuggghhh

Congrats on losing a dress size, that's amazing! :)

MrsH- Grats on meeting your exercise goal :)

I didn't do as well in June as I had hoped. I lost a little over 11 pounds, but I haven't exercised in a while. I did stick to the metformin, and kept my eating under control (for the most part), but I really need to get back to exercising. I'm happy I didn't give up, though.

Good luck this month! :)

MrsH2132012 07-02-2012 11:43 AM

July goals are to get back to my Early Bird scheduale of 5:30am M-F classes and then saturday 8am
