My view on this - and I'm a dietitian - is that supplements are only necessary if you have a specific deficiency (e.g. iron deficiency anaemia), have restrictions on your diet (vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, etc.) or have a medical need to take them (e.g. folate in pregnancy).
If you can eat a well balanced diet, then you'll get all of the nutrient you need, and in a form that your body likes. Eating a wide variety of real food (not highly processed stuff with ingredient lists you can't pronounce!) should provide you with all you need
And getting what you need from your food means you don't have to remember to take pills
