Question What type of exercise?

Hey Everyone,
I was wondering what type of exercise you find works best to lose weight with PCOS. On one side, I've read that you need 3x as much intense cardio (anaerobic) to lose weight as someone w/o PCOS. On the other hand, I've read that intense cardio can cause your cortisol levels to spike, hindering weight loss... thus lots of less-intense (aerobic) (min. 60 minutes) exercise is better. What do you girls find is best?

anaerobic is not cardio.

I think the best option is to do both! Do cardio and do strength training.

But exercising isn't going to make you lose weight, it's all in what you're eating. I've exercised tons with no impact on my weight.

Really whatever you can stick with and enjoy is fine. The specific answer will vary by person and what their goals are.

For myself? 4x a week, 45 min-60 min 6mph jog on elliptical was my best cardio. Combined with weight training. At the time I was into walking half marathons and prob was in the best adult shape of my life!

But as a rebeginner, I'm at 30 min 5x a week basic cardio. No weights yet. I want to work back up to previous levels. This article...
