I am on my last week of BCP...and no period. I don't even feel like its anywhere close either...so I am confused? My Dr said that I needed to do this if I needed to take a break from trying to get pregnant so I would have regular periods and hopefully my ovaries would just shut down...I'm not feeling very confident about this now...
Should I call him on Monday and ask about it? Maybe see if he wants to switch me to a different pill? This is all new territory for me, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not...

pinkhoodie, here's a data point just in case it's useful.

I've been on the pill for 25 years (Ortho Novum, Ortho Cyclen, and lately Yasmin/Ocella). When I weighed over 230 or so, if I ended my "active" pills on Saturday, I'd usually start menstruating on Thursday, sometimes not until Friday. Lately, in the 150's, I usually start menstruating on Wednesday.

If you're still in the week of placebos, I wouldn't worry yet. If you start the next pack and still haven't started bleeding, maybe it's time to check with the doctor.

This is my first pack ever. Today I am on my 3rd pill of the placebos. I just figured it would only take a daay or two...weird! That's kinda crazy that it can take that long. Guess its just waiting! :P
